An easy 10/10. Modern, clean, spacious, the room had a desk + chair which was very useful for working on my computer, they provided toiletries. Our most comfortable stay in the country so far!

I was very happy with my decision to stay here instead of a hotel in the city center. I could enjoy clean air and a peaceful atomosphere. The room was clean and spacious with a great view of trees and sound of birds. The staff were warm and very kind and they were always ready to help and support me. As a female solo traveler, I really appreciated their support. The owner gave me useful information about places to visit and was always happy to answer my questions. The communication was very smooth and he replied very quickly through Whatsapp and I really appreciated it. It was a home-stay like experience and I really enjoyed my stay.

We really enjoyed our stay! The room was clean, cozy, and well-kept, with a nice balcony. The host is very friendly and helpful, always ready to give advice or assist. We had an issue with our car, and he kindly helped us sort it out and get it fixed. Thank you for the great hospitality!

“Great stay in Kandy”

We really enjoyed our stay at Kandy Lotus Chalet. The rooms were comfortable and spacious with good A/C. Dasun, the owner, was very helpful offering advice on restaurants and activities in Kandy. Nazar, the housekeeper, was always available and keen to help, even when we had to leave for hiking in the Knuckles Range at 5am! The location is in a nice, quiet neighbourhood 10 mins from the city by tuk tuk.

Well stocked holiday home, all kitchen equipment and laundry available. Great location.

“Wonderful”

I enjoyed a lot my stay in this wonderful villa. Very quiet and surrounded by nature. It has amazing views to the forest. The Villa is completely new and the room was very cozy. Thank you to the charming staff. I truly recommend this place.

Stayed twice now, the owner ( even though he wasn't there this time) spoke to me to make sure everything was ok and the staff were very helpful. his housekeeper fed me. The setting is lovely, about two Km from Kandy.

“Quiet Retreat with all Amenities and super host.”

Kandy Lotus Chalet is away from the noisy city center of Kandy. It is surrounded by trees and bird songs. Inside, the kitchen area is spacious and well equipped. The rooms are also very spacious with all the furniture needed. The AC works really well and is well maintained. Dasun, the owner, is really caring and did all in his power to ensure we had a brilliant stay. We highly recommend for one or several nights.

We would like to thank for a wonderful stay in Kandy Lotus Chalet! We planed stay one night but we stayed three. We are in Candy for the second time and we stayd in this beautiful villa in quite part of Kandy full of greenery and birds with beautiful wiew. The owner Dasun and housekeeper Nazar who took care of us, were very nice.They fulfilled all our wishes and our whims. Delicious food, whatever you wish. Breakfasts and dinners in Sri Lankan style which we love…Nazar is perfect cook :) Dasun helped us with everything and was incredibly hospitable. Not only the place is nice,but the people are important :) This was one of our best experiences in Sri Lanka. We highly recommend this accommodation. We will definitely be back.

From the moment we arrived, the manager and housekeeper made us feel so welcome, always ready to help and offering great recommendations for places to visit. The breakfast was outstanding—we had a Sri Lankan breakfast, which was both delicious and generous in portion. It was the perfect start to our days in Kandy. The room was spacious, clean, and beautifully lit, offering a comfortable and relaxing ambiance. The bathroom was also large, stocked with all necessary toiletries and fresh towels. Everything was spotlessly clean, making the entire stay feel luxurious, yet at an incredibly affordable price. One of the most thoughtful touches was that the housekeeper waited for us both nights we stayed, ensuring we were comfortable. The manager continuously checked in to make sure we had the best Sri Lankan experience, and we highly recommend following his suggestions to make the most of your time in Kandy. With no hidden costs and exceptional service, Kandy Lotus Chalet truly exceeded our expectations. You get so much for what you pay, making it a must-stay in Kandy. Highly recommended—5 stars!

“Authentic, clean and comfy homestay”

Very clean homestay which is relatively new, just 2 years old. The rooms were big, comfy and had a lovely view and clean. The host is super friendly and helpful. I highly recommend the place. Breakfast was delicious too.

Very helpful and friendly staff especially Yamaal and Jineth. Owner was super helpful throughout. Large very clean and modern room and bathroom. Very nicely designed. Quiet location in nature away from the noise of the city centre. Highly recommended!
