The location is quite remote and far from the shops and restaurants, up a steep hill. Make sure you take everything you will need as there are no restaurants except in the town. There was an ant infestation in the bathroom, I had to spray them off the toilet with water. Also a barking dog that was going 24/7. The owner told me it was next doors and keeps coming onto her property.

Very nice place. The owner is very kind person. There some dogs, but they are friendly and not bothering. Cute and clean rooms. Good view. No noice. You need to go up on the heel, but it worth it. Very quite.

Best homestay i had in sri lanka. The owner is so so so nice and kind and with big heart. I was sick she brought me egs and medicine and so so much more. Everything was clean the bed was nice, the view was amazing, I just felt so much comfortable. Yes sure it's not in the kandy city but it's really not a big problem to get there with tuktuk or take the stairs. Thank you for this amazing place with amazing energy. A very nice and clean place run by a woman. Such female entrepreneurship in Sri Lanka should be appreciated and she does her business properly. The rooms are spacious. Clean. Very quick response to our every request. The bed is comfortable.

“Wonderful stay”

A wonderful experience. Kumari was incredibly helpful and always available, really making the stay easy and comfortable. The room was spotless, modern and surrounded by beautiful nature with great views. City center lake just 10min away by tuktuk. Everything felt very well taken care of, calm and relaxed. Overall, a very pleasant and smooth stay—highly recommend!

Peaceful and quiet

I recently went on a pilgrimage (Dalada Wandana) and stayed at this hotel with my family .My journey was quite tiring, but the hotel provided a very comfortable and welcoming stay. I was especially touched by their generous hospitality .The service was excellent, and the staff were kind and caring throughout my stay. I would highly recommend this hotel, especially for fellow pilgrims. A truly five-star experience!

Great owner! Comfortable bed, big and bright room. Hot water, good pressure, very clean. Complimentary tea. Kettle, glasses and water in the room. One of the best rooms we had in Sri Lanka! It might be tricky to find it but the view from the window is worth it.

It was a local quiet neighborhood which was very nice. A lot of space, very clean, comfy bed and extremely friendly host. Very good value for money. We can only recommend!!
