Overview
Suisse is housed in a colonial building, across Kandy Lake. Offering rooms with views of the tropical garden or Kandy Lake, it has a spa, a restaurant and free parking. The colonial-style rooms at Hotel Suisse feature classic wood furnishings and floral fabrics. They are fitted with satellite TV and private bathrooms with hot/cold shower. Guests can lounge by the landscaped outdoor pool or enjoy a relaxing massage at the Ayurvedic Centre. Sauna facilities are also available. This is a fantastic hotel that oozes colonial style and history. I cannot recommend this choice more to my fellow booking bookers - it is excellent value for what you pay. The swimming pool is super, the rooms are large and airy and you can walk out from the oasis of calm property into traffic congested Kandy. Property is very well managed > enjoy :)

Very nice hotel, with a "Old style" charm to it. our stay was nice and quiet, too. the breakfast buffet was varied and nice, but it could have used from more care in the cleanliness of cups, cutlery, and plates.

“5 star quality, with a family friendly approach 😊”
All of the employees were simply amazing. It had a 5 star elegance and service but unlike some up market hotels, Hotel Suisse were kid friendly, and very welcoming and kind regardless of our family needs. The food was incredible, beautiful breakfasts, the pool and location were perfect.

“Beautiful, historical building located on Kandy Lake. A short 15min walk into town.”
The Hotel Suisse Kandy was full of history. The building was stunning to stay in. The buffet breakfast was fantastic with lots of options. The staff were very friendly. We especially loved the 3m deep pool. The hotel was a short, beautiful walk about Kandy Lake into the bustling city. So much history and elegance. We really enjoyed our staff.

“We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Suisse, really appreciated how friendly the staff were.”
The room was lovely and spacious with a nice balcony. The hotel itself had lovely décor and super friendly staff. The location is right by the lake and just a short walk to Kandy centre. The pool is great to relax by with a beer.
