Great location, but be aware it’s in the middle of nowhere! They have a good chef too, so you don’t have to go far to get food. The breakfast (especially the sri lankan one), the hospitality and service are amazing!

“Peaceful stay immersed in nature”

We had a great stay at the Eco Knuckles Holiday Lodge. We loved being immersed in nature and hearing birds while having breakfast. The surroundings of the property are very peaceful. The manager Wasantha took good care of us and answered all our questions prior to our arrival. He also put us in contact with someone who organizes guided hikes in the Knuckles Conservation Forest (we booked one in advance). The food at the property was also delicious and with generous portions. We had breakfast and dinner there for 2 days (breakfast was included in the accommodation price), but I believe lunch can also be arranged.

“Fantastic stay in the heart of Sri Lanka”

We stayed here whilst doing the knuckles trekking. The property is located among peaceful rice paddy’s with lots of nature and animals. Wasantha the manager was great from the moment we arrived, he organised a taxi for us up to Wilpattu national park and looked after us the entire time nothing was a problem. Breakfast was very good and large and dinner was also enjoyable in the open plan eating area near the river. Would definitely stay again next time in Sri Lanka

We had a lovely stay with the best service from Wasantha. We made a beautiful village tour which was arranged by the host upon our arrival.

Our stay here was truly special. The place itself is incredible, surrounded by nature with amazing views and a unique, non-touristic location. We especially want to thank Wasantha, who was not only our main contact but also helped us a lot — always with respect and great empathy. He really made our stay one of the best experiences we’ve had, preparing us a delicious breakfast and arranging trekking options. Since you are in nature, you might come across some ants, but that’s completely normal — once you notice them they quickly disappear, and they never bothered us. 😬😬 The access is along a very local road, so I recommend arranging in advance with a driver for both arrival and departure. Many thanks to the whole team for the smooth organization through Booking, and to Wasantha and his colleague on site for their kindness and hospitality.

Very beautiful place, the staff is very helpful and can help you with anything you might want. They organized a small hike for me in a neighboring village, which was really beautiful. The breakfast is a feast and the room is spotless. Really good bed and bathroom and you have your own little balcony. I can recommend this place!

Amazing stay. We had the best experience. The staff made our stay perfect. Very safe and comfortable. The room was clean, no insects, beautiful balcony over looking a stream. Best experience in Sri Lanka. The host made us a feast for breakfast and a packed lunch for our trek. Delicious food and perfect host. Better experience here than in Kandy. He offered to arrange transfers and treks for us. He couldn’t have done more of us, it was like staying with family ❤️ thank you for having us

Beautifully located cabins with spectacular view on rice fields and river. The cabins are very new and are really spacious. We also very much loved the food! Fantastic breakfast and the dinner was also very tasty and good value for money. This in combination with fantastic staff, which helped us with everything, made this the best accommodation we stayed in during our Sri Lanka holiday.
