The family is so Nice! I had really the feeling to sleep in a family home. I liked to cook together with the mom of the family! Great experience! Beautiful view as well! This stay really made my trip in sri lanka! Swimming pool close by. I extented my trip Here because I liked it so much! Nice animals in the trees close by.

“Lovely home away from busy city and lovely host family”

I loved this homestay so much. Spacious room with beautiful view, warm shower, nice spacious living room. The host family were really lovely and my son loved to play with them (there is a cute baby there ! ) while I could rest and read by book enjoying the view. Ka day is a busy city but it was an oasis! It’s walking distance from the centre/ tooth temple but of Ypu are not used to Sri Lankan roads and traffic the tuktuk will take you there for less then 200rupee. Overall very great place

The hospitality! Mahesh is so friendly and is always present to help for anything you may need. His family is adorable too. The breakfast is delicious with a stunning view on the jungle and Kandy.

Mahesh and his lovely family made our stay in Kandy such a exceptional one. What I loved and find so professional is that they have a small folder with all information regarding what to visit in Kandy, tours and prices. Closest supermarket, laundry service and all information that traveler needs. You can really see that they put so much effort into it. We communicated throug Whatssapp and he was always quick with reply. Even when we asked late nigh would it be possible to have a cup of tea, he bring it in few minutes with a smile. View from the room is really outstanding, and that was the main reason why we booked this place, but we got so much more. Really no words to describe how GREAT we felt there <3

Excellent and delicious breakfast. I was also given extra tea. The family were really welcoming and helpful. The room had a wonderful view and large balcony. The shower was nice and hot too

We had an amazing time at Mahesh’s family home. The home is very traditional and his family was very warm and welcoming. We stayed for 1 night and were able to cook dinner with his family. His parents showed us how to cook a curry and rice which tasted amazing. The home is located at the top of the hill with an incredible view over parts of Kandy. The rooms were well equipped and tidy. We can’t recommend this family enough for an incredible home stay experience. It was an amazing experience staying with a local family and we were able to learn so much about them and their culture.

The hosts were really lovely, nice and absolutely helpful. They prepared a folder with tips and tours around town which is amazing for newbies to Kandy! It was in a calmer area of town but still stores and restaurants closeby. The breakfast was good and there was plenty. The host knocked on our door on the dot for the beforehand said time for the breakfast (punctual as a german!!). We would definitely go back :)
