A wonderful stay in Kandy. The property has a large pool which our children made full use of — a real plus after days of sightseeing. The dinner was something else entirely. No menu — instead, the kitchen simply prepared what they wanted to share with us. Fourteen different plates arrived at the table: curries, vegetables and chutneys. The effort and care that went into it was remarkable. One of those meals you do not forget. A special mention for Raja, the tuk-tuk driver the hotel recommended for exploring Kandy. He created an experience that was genuinely unforgettable — particularly for our children. Not just a driver, but someone who clearly takes pride in showing visitors the city in a way that goes well beyond the usual. Outstanding, quite simply. Everything about this stay felt considered and generous. We can recommend it without reservation.

“Beautiful stay with amazing dinner”

Our stay was more than amazing. The property is beautiful and all rooms are cozy and very big. It‘s super clean and the owner really cares about every guest. We definitely recommend the homemade dinner which was exceptional. Overall 10/10 and we recommend everyone to stay here!

“Best place in Sri Lanka!”

Whatever I say for this place and the amazing Inoka and her great family will not be enough - we were there during one of the biggest floods in Sri Lanka and Inoka helped us so much during this period - we didn’t have electricity nor network connection and we stayed an additional night and she didn’t charge us - he gave us food and as news as possible during this though period. The apartment was really nice, clean and there is an amazing pool that unfortunately we couldn’t use because of the weather. I can absolutely say that out of 8 different places that we spend some nights in and all of them were pretty nice, Danisco was the best and mostly because of Inoka. I rightly recommend this place!!!

Amazing pool, the room was super clean and most of all Inoka and her family are amazing hosts, they were so kind and cooked us some of the best food we had in the trip ( definitely have dinner/ lunch there!)

“Peaceful, relaxing and great value for money”

The moment we arrived this property was so peaceful and relaxing. We had welcome tea/coffee on the balcony. Highly recommend having dinner and breakfast! We had both and they were equally delicious. It was also just such a nice spot on the balcony to sit back and relax. The property was clean. The hosts were more than accommodating. Its properties like this that make you love visiting other countries! We wish we could have stayed longer

We had a fantastic stay with Inoka and her family, warmly welcomed into their guesthouse. They have adviced us on how to spend our short stay, recommended a great tuktuk-driver/guide and helped to make arrangements on transport. Great food, great pool and very nice accomodation. The distance to Kandy was easy to cover with a tuktuk.

She even arranged massages for my entire family , very attentive and truly great Sri Lankan hospitality ! Thank you and we will be back next time we're in kandy !

“Magical stay!”

The kindness of our host was second to none- we felt very welcome. We were kindly invited to their new year's celebration with friends and neighbours, and when we were unable to book a tuk tuk, the owner very kindly drove us to our bus stop and made sure we got on the correct bus! Cleanliness and decor of the rooms and villa excellent. Beds were very comfortable. Breakfast and dinner were reliably delicious and served in very generous portions. The pool was a great touch and was very quiet thanks to the villa's location outside of Kandy town.

Everything was wonderful. We really enjoyed our stay here. The guesthouse is very comfortable and spacious, breakfast was superb and the host was absolutely fantastic, looking after us throughout our stay.
