Great stay! Anush and Chantchina were brilliant and attentive hosts. Food was very tasty and my room was very spacious and clean. Beautiful view from balcony and enjoyed the swimming pool and pool table. Highly recommend!

“Quirky, welcoming himestay”

Our host and his wife were very welcoming and warm. The beautiful house in the mountains was stunning. Glorious gardens, pool and amazing indoor fish pond, feature. Optional home cooked dinner was perfect Sri Lankan food cooked by the host. Highly recommend to make you feel like it was your own home. Would have liked to have stayed longer.

“Authentic home stay”

Anusha and his partner were super welcoming when we arrived, making us tea and coffee. The accommodation is in a great location, circa 20/30 minutes outside of Kandy depending on traffic. We purposefully chose to be outside of the hustle and bustle of Kandy and were very grateful for the tranquil location when we returned from a day out in Kandy. We had a home cooked dinner both evenings which was delicious, our dietary requirements were well catered for. The rooms were comfortable and spacious with decent AC. The house itself is full of antiques owing to Anusha’s passion for collecting.

“A beautiful house that feels like home”

Aboush and Kantona are excellent hosts so kind and welcoming. A large airy house outside the city but so worth the ride into the hills. Our room was large Ac and extremely comfortable beds. Bathroom was luxurious with instant hot water! Great breakfast included and evening meals available Beautiful communal lounge areas and terrace overlooking a beautiful garden and swimming pool. We didn’t want to leave. We will be back ❤️

A wonderful place to stay with quirky antiques all over the place. Great veiws from the terrace. Anusha was so welcoming and friendly. The breakfast was lovely and and plentiful. The evening meal cooked by his wife was the best meal of our holiday.

Unfortunately we didn’t have any time to appreciate this beautiful unique setting accomdation. But owner are very smiley and kind. Offer to help you and make your stay comfortable. Two lovely dogs too. One things I adore most is the shower !!! Probably the best shower I had in Sri Lanka even staying expensive hotel couldn’t provide this much powerful hot shower ! ( I know it sounds stupid but you know long time travelling I miss hot powerful shower )

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Chaminrich. The villa is peaceful and has a beautiful mountain view and a nice pool. The place is great, but what makes it truly special is the kindness of the host couple. We came to Chaminrich with two small children and the host couple were so kind to them and made us feel very welcome. One of our children was not feeling well so they made her tea and home cooked soup. The food they cooked for us was very high quality and actually the best we had in Sri Lanka. Very high recommendations from a grateful, Danish family ❤️🙏

“A wonderful stay with beautiful views”

The location is beautiful and the hosts so welcoming. Great breakfasts and delicious dinner can be provided too. There’s a lovely pool to relax in and a huge balcony with magnificent views. The rooms are spacious and stylish and the bathroom luxurious. Everything is spotlessly clean and there are interesting objects and antiques to provide interest and talking points with the owners.

Villa Chaminrich is a very beautiful place, away from the chaos and noise, surrounded by lush greenery and only a few minutes from the city. Our room was spacious and nicely furnished, with a lovely bathroom. From the room we had direct access to a wonderful terrace. The owner was extremely kind and helpful. He is a lover of antiques, so the villa is furnished in that style. His wife prepared a very delicious breakfast and dinner for us. We truly felt comfortable and welcome. Highly recommended.

A very good host. The room was amazing: one of the best we've stayed in in Sri Lanka. The host's wife is a very good cook: breakfast and dinner were delicious. I highly recommend it. We were sorry we had to leave.

Absolutely amazing homestay in Kandy. My daughter and I recently stayed here and were extremely satisfied with the cleanliness and location of the homestay, along with the quality of the meals and hospitality provided by the host family. The included breakfasts were delicious and included an array of authentic Sri Lankan flavours. They also provide dinner at a very reasonable price which we opted for most nights as the food was the best that we had tried in Sri Lanka so far. The host family were very helpful and friendly, giving us good local advice and tips. The location of the homestay is beautiful, and the mountains and forrest is visible from the building's outdoor balcony. I would highly reccomend this homestay to anybody visiting Kandy.

The welcome, cleanliness, and hospitality were out of this world. Nothing could be to much for them.

“Peaceful paradise with charming hosts and delicious food.”

The hosts were amazing - so helpful , attentive and kind . The food was the best we have had in Sri Lanka. Prepared by the host who is a professional chef as well. The property was immaculate and so quiet and the pool a great place to cool off and relax. We walked to the Botanical Gardens which I highly recommend.

An amazing place with a beautiful view, the owner was very kind and helpful! A huge and delicious breakfast filled us up for the whole day. The owner arranged transportation to the center for us when the app wouldn't pick us up.

The hosts are amazing and it was an honour to stay in their stunning home ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
