Beauty Hills is high up above Kandy and away from all the traffic and noise but still only a short bus ride away. A tuk tuk will cost around 350 rupees. We booked the basic room but were offered a much bigger room for a few pounds more with an amazing view over the Kandy valley. Watching the sunrise at 5.30am was amazing. Sanjeewa was an excellent host and we were able to use the communal kitchen and fridge. He also organised an excellent tuk tuk day trip around Kandy with our driver Thushan. For only 3000 rupees he will take you to see all the sights and is very knowledgeable. Definitely the best way to see Kandy.

“The view from the balcony at Beauty Hill was stunning and created a very calm, pleasant atmosphere.”
Beauty Hill is a wonderful place to stay in Kandy. The rooms were comfortable and the property had a peaceful vibe. The highlight was the balcony, which offered an amazing panoramic view of Kandy. Watching the city from there was truly relaxing and memorable.

Very nice rooms with a wonderful view to a valley with a river. Situated in a quiet area but only 10 minutes from a center of Kandy by a tuk tuk. Rooms were spacious and clean.

“Lovely accommodation with breathtaking views!”
Wha a lovely property! The rooms were large with tea and coffee and there was a lovely balcony with the most amazing view. The staff were so helpful and kind throughout helping us with our bags up and down the hill! I would definitely recommend this place to stay! We did a local cooking class (Kandy Village Cooking Class) and would definitely recommend you do this if you can!

“Wonderful and peaceful”
The most amazing view from the balcony Sanjeewa was an amazing host. He was so helpful and kind and gave us a wonderful recommendation for an Ayurvedic treatment. The beds were very comfortable and the breakfast was delicious.

“Amazing views!!”
A lovely place to stay in Kandy. The views from the room were incredible. The room was clean and comfortable with everything you needed. The host was friendly and helpful. It was a little walk into Kandy town or a quick tuk tuk ride but we found it nice to escape the city and sleep somewhere peaceful.
