We really enjoyed the atmosphere, the design of the interior, the Tatami mats. Spacious apartment, very nice bathroom. The location is very interesting too, in old traditional style part of the town.

We loved our stay here. The place was very clean, comfortable, and well located. The assistant was incredibly kind and helpful they spent a lot of time helping us and answering our questions and were always patient and nice. Their help really made our stay much easier and more enjoyable.

The location, in the old part of Kanazawa and within walking distance of practically everything nice to see was perfect. The street on which the property is located is classy, quiet, and full of character.

“Lovely home away from home in an historic neighborhood”
We stayed a night in the Happyaku room and enjoyed it tremendously. The location is brilliant. The inn is located in a quaint building in a historic neighbourhood. Despite the area being a tourist attraction, the street itself is quiet and peaceful. The room is very spacious, and there's conveniently a washer-dryer in the kitchen. The service was excellent, and the breakfast was very delicious. I would highly recommend Utaimachi for anyone seeking to soak in the charming Higashichaya neighborhood.

“Delightful in every way”
We loved the traditional Japanese room with futons. Daily breakfast was a choice of Japanese or western breakfast with was delicious. Location was perfect
