“Two nights in Kanazawa”

Everything was great: the hosts were very hospitable, the location and the room were excellent, and the onsen (bath) system was perfectly thought-out.

The host is very friendly and helpful, he gave us lots of recommendations for visiting the city and also helped us book some activities. The atmosphere is wonderful and the ryokan location is perfect for visiting most areas of Kanazawa (less than 10 minutes walk from most of them). It is also very close to the Omicho Market.

Very good location. Led by a great owner and his lovely mother. Access to the bath is an extra plus. It truly is an unforgettable experience to sleep in such a historical place.

Large room on ground floor with garden views and comfortable futons. Shared bath and toilet which were both kept very clean and showers are also available. Exceptional hosts with great recommendations for local sites and restaurants. Good option if you're looking for a more authentic accommodation experience.

We loved Bungo and his mother. They were so kind, generous with their time and very informative about Kanazawa. You feel like you are living in their home, in the best way but will all the privacy you expect from paid accomodation.

A great place to experience traditional Japan. The owner is very helpful and friendly. The property is super clean and well-maintained, located next to a castle. There are plenty of nice pubs and restaurants nearby, as well as a fish market. There's a traditional Japanese bathroom in the basement. I definitely recommend this place.

Great central location. Bungo-san and his mother run a lovely, warm ryokan, s asn we’re super helpful with guidance on things to see and do in Kanazawa. We enjoyed the lovely tea and sweet biscuits on arrival. Also enjoyed the onsen in the basement, which made for a nice relaxed evening.

The ryokan was beautiful, in a very good shape, owner tries his best to keep the place perfect which is admirable. There's an option to go inside the onsen privately which was very nice for us as a couple on our honeymoon. Bungo the owner gave us a map in our native language (Hebrew) and gave us a lot of information before we started exploring Kanazawa, which was very thoughtful and nice, we are grateful.
