The Ryokan was a perfect stay for my time in Kanazawa. I enjoyed returning every day. It's truly a hidden gem, a travel back in time to a Japan before instagram aesthetics took over.

It was such a pleasure staying in such a wonderful traditional ryokan. The bathhouse was really wonderful and we never had to wait to use it! The local area too is absolutely amazing - the restaurants nearby are a must. The beds were so comfortable along with the super comfortable kimonos provided which are very handy when using the bathhouse.

It was an excellent location. I liked the onsen. Staff were very helpful. The room was very small and felt claustrophobic. As I developed painful knee condition after I booked, perhaps it was not the best sort of place to stay. I couldn't sit on the floor and I found it difficult getting up and down sleeping on futon. This is not the fault of the Ryokan. If I had not developed limited mobility, it would have been a great place to stay. The futon was very comfortable to sleep on.

Lovely ryokan! The communal baths are really nice! And the staff helpful. The tea in the room was delicious. Nothing to complain about.

“Authentic japanese home feeling”
I loved the friendly hosts and the entire authentic feeling that we experienced at the property. And the onsen, onsen is amazing, the perfect end of each day in Kanazawa.

A very nice and cute family-run Ryokan, with traditional Japanese room and shared bath (which can be also used privately). Very central and close to most points of interest in Kanazawa. We will definitely come back next time we are in Kanazawa.

“Affordable ryokan experience”
A tatami mat room and evening Japanese bath in a ryokan is a great experience. The welcome was warm with some English spoken. Beautiful small Japanese garden in the centre of the building. Lots of eating and drinking options a 5 minute walk away.

Great location near the Kanazawa castle (~15min by foot), and you also have really nice quality/price restaurants within 100 meters from the hotel. The hotel itself was super clean, with helpful staff. The traditionnal room was clean with a heater/AC in case you need it. Even though the structure is located at the center, I never heard a sound in my room so was able to sleep very well. The toilets and bathes were also clean, with the latter providing the essential tools for body and hygiene. I really enjoyed my stay here
