The room has a classic Japanese luxury feel, which may make it seem a bit old-fashioned, but it has been fully renovated. The highlight of the stay was the service. The staff were exceptionally professional, attentive, and dedicated, embodying the traditional Japanese spirit of craftsmanship.

“It was comfortable. Kanazawa during cherry blossoms was the most picturesque! We went to Kyoto and Tokyo as well and we”
Its a nice property. We were there for 1 night. Its about a 15 mins walk to Kenrouken garden and Castle We took a cab though from right outside the hotel (opposite starbucks). Pretty convenient. In the morning before we left for Tokyo, we went to the Samurai district which was 5 mins walking from the hotel. Sweet old charming place. We are a family of 5 so we took 2 rooms. Rooms were a comfortable size, the smaller room for my parents was okay but the bed could have been slightly bigger. Overall experience for 1 night was good.

We thoroughly enjoyed our 2 night stay here. It's a lovely hotel in a great location for exploring Kanazawa. All the sights are within walking distance of the hotel. It is situated in the quiet Samurai area with lots of small restaurants close by. The rooms are a good size and the staff were very helpful. Lots of choice at breakfast catering for all tastes. Can thoroughly recommend this hotel.

A beautiful lobby and restaurants, attentive staff. The rooms are spacious but Japanese standards. Can get hot in the evening with central heating but easily remedied with an open window. Lovely location near samurai district.

Good location to visit both the museums and the gardens in Kanazawa. View from high level floor of the skyline was cool. Would always recommend high floor for that reason.

“Best position in Kanazawa”
Undisputable winner of my 2025 vacation to Japan, this hotel won under every aspect. The room was spacious, well equipped and comfortable. The breakfast was of superb quality, a standing chef was present to prepare omurice and udon on request. The position was simply perfect: you had on the front the Kanazawa castle and on the back the Samurai district and you were 15 minutes walk to pretty much every sightseeing location in Kanazawa.
