“A super quality hotel at a great price in a central location. I'd stay again!”

The Kaname Inn on Tatemachi Street in Kanazawa is a super little hotel and is a great place to stay in Kanazawa. First impressions are good as the staff are welcoming, friendly and efficient, the room and in fact the whole hotel was very clean and well maintained, it's in a good location for an easy 10 minute walk to the museum of modern art yet it's on one of the main shopping streets too, and the bar is great fun. Furthermore the room was a good size for a twin bed room, and the air con unit was super quiet. This might sound like a small detail but the night before we stayed in a hotel with a standard type air con unit and the difference was notable, and we slept so well during our stay at the Kaname Inn. We think the price we paid for the room was very reasonable indeed and we highly recommend it.

I really enjoyed our stay here. Our room was nice and spacious, which is a luxury in Japan. The staff were really nice, especially a woman whose name I've sadly forgotten, but who had lived abroad in Australia for a while. She was super nice and helpful. We really liked the bar; it gets more full than you expect, so if you want to guarantee a space, you might need to reserve a table. Their burger was super tasty, and we liked the cocktails. They also have a longer happy hour for the guests. You can also reserve breakfast, but safer to do so 2 days in advance. We were lucky to find it on the day. We had really nice sandwichesıth potato salad, some greens and a tomato on the side.

Staff was fantastic- super helpful( went above and beyond to arrange transfer of a box of items) Location wonderful- easy access to buses but also easy walking distance to key sites Suite was clean, spacious and had everything we could possibly need. The view of the mountains was lovely. Opening the door to the suite was like arriving HOME ( but neater).

Great location for stepping outside Hotel and into the mall. Great music lounge downstairs.

A really nice hotel, our room was a deluxe on the 9th floor, very roomy and comfortable, and very well appointed. Beds were very comfortable and the bathroom was the best we’ve had so far. Huge bath was very welcome after a big day of walking. When we arrived, Rachel at the front desk was absolutely amazing; we’ve never experienced such a warm and informative welcome before anywhere in all our travels, with Rachel pointing out all the spots of interest and how to get around. Very much appreciated. We loved the music bar and restaurant on the ground floor, and enjoyed dinner and drinks listening to the music twice during our stay. A very relaxed and welcoming atmosphere. Overall one of our best stays and would highly recommend.

The music bar is great and the rooms are really comfortable and spacious. The location is excellent and the staff are extremely helpful and friendly. I would stay here again happily. Staff went over and beyond to help with restaurant reservations.

Nice, clean and cozy accommodation. The room was fully equipped with a view and lots of light. I had no idea that living above a music bar would be such an advantage. In the evening we went to dinner, which was excellent. We had a few signature drinks while listening to quality music that the local DJ played on vinyl records. Amazing atmosphere, good food and drinks, nice, helpful and professional service both at the bar and at the reception. We really enjoyed our stay here. Thank you and we recommend it.
