I really enjoyed my stay at Higashiyama Chitaru in Kanazawa. The hosts were so easy to contact, and they replied promptly. The home was in a fantastic location, very close to the beautiful Higashi Chaya District, and only about 20 minutes walk from the gorgeous Kenrokuen Garden and about 15 minutes walk to Omicho Market for lots of delicious lunch options. I was staying with friends, and all of us slept well, as the beds were very comfortable. The bedroom on the main floor is very quiet, while the bedroom on the upper floor does get some traffic noise. The bathroom was great, with a large shower and bathtub, and we really appreciated the washing machine and the dryer that dried our clothes quickly and efficiently (much more quickly than most driers we had used in Japan). The living room has plenty of space, with a large table as well as a couch, so we had lots of space to stretch out in the evenings. We requested a late check-out, and our hosts graciously provided this for us, which we really appreciated. I highly recommend this place if you are staying in Kanazawa, for the excellent location and the comfortable beds.

Perfect location in Kanazawa, we stayed here for a week and found this property very convenient and comfortable for our family. Use of a washing machine and a small kitchen was also very handy.

The instructions for online check in and collecting keys to property were clear and simple to do through their service app. The house itself was a fantastic size to accommodate our group (4 people). All amenities like washer, dryer, kitchen etc were great. They provide you items on the side with a tip box to pay for - same price, if not a tad less than convenience store. We really enjoyed our stay at Higashi-chitaru and very much look forward to staying here again. If you need to contact any staff member, they provide you with their details in their property guide. Should you want an experience in a local town house, then definitely stay here! :-)
