We had a wonderful stay at Gunjo no tsuki. The hosts were fantastic - a warm welcome with all the information we needed, accommodation as advertised (dedicated japanese design), a quiet side street of Kanazawa and also a prepared breakfast in their own Café. Highly recommended if you prefer more space than any hotel and a privately run business.

Spacious house, well equipped with kitchen and laundry facilities. Perfect for a family. Exceeded my expectations.

The apartment was very well appointed with quality items and was presented well. The shower/bathroom was excellent! It was in a very peaceful area and was walkable from the station if you don't mind a walk. The host was very informative and provides an excellent breakfast from his cafe which set us up for our onward travel.

“Amazing apartment!”

The place is simply amazing! The room we rented was on the second floor, it was very spacious and full of every commodity. The beds were very comfortable (they were futons), the bathroom is fitted with a large bathtub in a separated space (i believe it is called ofuro, in which you can shower before taking a bath). The bathtub can be filled remotely. The breakfast was delicious, made with local products. The host was very kind and extremely helpful. The place is relatively close to the train station (about 20 minutes by bus), and very close to places of interest (such as the wrongly named Ninja Temple, which absolutely deserves a visit)

Great location and beautiful design features. Our host was kind, detailed and thorough. His attention to detail was outstanding. The futon beds were very comfortable.

Very friendly and helpful host, he even helped us with dinner reservations. Being able to use the laundry machine was very handy. Breakfast was served in the host's café. No touch checkout (just closing the door, no keys). Very quiet environment.
