Pretty close to the station, the supermarket, and the convenience store. A lot of izakayas and restaurants around the place as well. Free drinks were awesome, decent rental towels were cheap, and they got a kitchen where we could cook our own meals. Shout out to Tira, Hana, and the other guests that night! The night was awesome!

“Great location and very cosy guesthouse.”
The location was very good. Free soft drinks was a bonus! The room was a nice size and very clean. It was easy to leave our bags before check-in.

Staff were very friendly and helpful. They explained things very clearly, made us feel welcome. There were three of us in a room and while it was a bit tight at times, it was plenty of space during our stay. Location is good, close enough to train station and to other things to visit.

“A fun stay in Kanazawa”
This place has a great vibe, with a cosy and welcoming reception room that felt like the place’s living room. The staff are wonderful, helpful and fun to spend time with. The facilities are easy to use and the place is superclean.

“Sweet and comfy guesthouse, perfect location and wonderful staff.”
Nagonde is in a fantastic location, right next to the best food that we’ve had on our trip so far. Thanks to the lovely staff who recommended us where to go, we found the best food and vibes just literally round the corner! It was so comfy, with free tea and coffee and a comfy shared space to meet other travellers. And the bar is awesome! Great drinks and Japanese bar snacks.

“10/10 place!”
Super convenient as it is near the train station and omicho market, and its walking distance from great ramen & Kanazawa curry restaurants. The place was super cozy and it felt like I was truly in a home. Really great price with friendly staff too! Would highly recommend this place as it is definitely a bang for your buck! Bonus: had a great time watching tv with the obaasan as it reminded me of my childhood days with my grandmother too.

“Nice private room for a group trip”
Welcoming staff explaining us all the codes and the common room ammenities. Big room for 3 with private bathroom. They also let us leave our luggage next morning for some hours.

“Wish we'd been here longer!”
We absolutely loved this hostel and were sad there weren't more nights available for us to book. Fantastic location from the station and walkable to main tourist sites. Hostel was clean with loads of thoughtful touches like free soda machine and little box of different charging cables for people to use. The bar/ izakaya attached to the hostel was also fantastic with good cheap food. We had really nice evening there chatting with a few beers. Wouldn't stay anywhere else if we came back to kanazawa.
