“Convenient accomodation”

The location of the guesthouse was quiet but convenient for visiting the main attractions of the city. The host provided everything we could possibly need for our stay (toiletries, beverages, appliances, information about the area...) and it was easy to communicate with her via whatsapp.

Absolutely perfect traditional house, loved to sleep in a fouton and the Japanese minimalist room style. In the heart of the Geisha tranquil neighborhood.

Noto-san’s guesthouse was a delight! I really enjoyed staying at a local japanese house, the futon was very comfortable and the place was super clean. Noto-san also was easily reachable via WhatsApp and was very nice.

Good location, well stocked kitchen and bathroom. This is a small hostel with 4 bedrooms and shared living room, bathroom and kitchen. We rented the whole place. Quiet location close to Higashi- character.

“Brilliant local stay, immaculate, quiet and cosy”

Perfect location , with an immaculate simple room. Surprisingly very quiet. Kitchen had lots of tea and coffee for guests. Occasionally waited for the shower, but it’s all part of the slower pace here. Loved it Highly recommend minutes away Syamaron for dinner , delicious , cosy and so reasonable. And f bakery , round the corner makes amazing coffee , pastries and artisan breads. Thanks to Noto-San , such a kind and charming host.

Really excellent location and a beautiful little guesthouse! Everything was very clean, tidy and organised with lots of information available. Perfect for a smooth stay with a very helpful host.

Noto was a fabulous host, very helpful and kind. The house was close to everything and well stocked with coffees, teas and treats. I would recommend guesthouse Hakuka to anyone looking to stay in Kanazawa!

We liked everything. The experience was exceptional. Traditional Japanese atmosphere. Sparkling clean. Very friendly and nice host. The location is close to the castle and to the Park. Quiet place. Very well equipped kitchen.

Lovely place, in a nice and quiet location, but still near many restaurants, transit, etc. The room was small but it was all that we needed. Great selection of free coffee and tea :)

Beautiful traditional Japanese stay

“A nice traditional stay in Kanazawa”

Guesthouse is very conveniently located, a short walk to the river and the biggest attractions of Kanazawa. The room was very simple, exactly as shown on the pictures, some little space to put the luggage in. The bathroom downstairs can seem insufficient, but actually it was not a problem. There's a cute common area and a kitchen with a great selection of matcha, japanese milk tea and coffee. I let myself to borrow an umbrella on a rainy evening.

I liked the location being close to interesting tourist areas. It was a comfortable clean room in a traditional style. I liked having easy access to the laundry. I loved Kanazawa!

“Worth every penny”

This is a jewel, great location, great japanese bedroom, you get decent bathroom and many toilets, fullyfunctional kitchen with freebies. Easy selfcheck in and check out. Very relaxing after a day of traveling.

“Every was great!”

The house with rooms in traditional style. Our stay was very comfortable. The best sleep I’ve had in a long time! We have lucky, because we have quiet roommate. The owner was very friendly and helful. We are very recommending!

the attention to detail is amazing.. down to complimentary tea/coffee, the bathroom has absolutely anything you could need and more, even the AC remote has little stickies with the translation (it was already on when we arrived so we'd be comfortable..), we were allowed to leave the luggage, etcetc. such a sweet and friendly owner, you can see she puts her heart into it and treats her guests exquisitely. location is also nice.

Lovely little traditional room with a very comfy and cozy floor bed. Owner was nice and the location was good and very chill (in a quiet Japanese road).
