Last September we wrote a review called "What more could you want or need?" As we promised, we had to repeat the adventure that we rated as perfect a year ago. Just as we expected, everything was on par with previous years, except that this time we knew what to expect, so we practically played it safe. An unforgettable stay at the best hotel in Preveza! Everything was perfect, from the warm welcome to the impeccable service. The rooms were modern, spotless, and fully equipped with every comfort. The pool, the sauna and dining options exceeded expectations and the location was ideal for exploring the area. “Wonderful”

The beds were among the best we’d slept in, in Greece. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Rooms clean and spacious. We only stayed one night, but will definitely come back again.

“Very well maintained hotel”

The hotel is very well maintained. We had a very large, comfortable room with a balcony and a beautiful view of the sea and the pool. The bed was large and very comfortable. The breakfast was good. Lunch and dinner are not available, but there is a pool bar and a few restaurants within walking distance. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The hotel is almost on the beach and has a good location to explore the beautiful area and its (ancient) sights.

We love this hotel. It's very comfortable: well equipped room facilities and a good breakfast. It's close to the beach and bars and restaurants. We have stayed here twice. Emmanouela is a lovely host and she remembered us from last time.

Ionian Theoxenia is an extraordinary hotel. A place tailored to each guest, impeccably clean and tidy, comfortable and maximally pleasant for a stay. It is architecturally well thought out, with excellent sound isolation. The rooms are spacious, modern, the bed is comfortable, and everything what is necessary for a pleasant stay of tourists is available within the package price. There is a sufficient number of parking spaces inside and outside the hotel, Wi-Fi signal is constantly available and good enough, everything is well organized and functional. The breakfast is excellent and meets the needs of tourists with the most varied desires and habits. Special praise goes to the entire staff, starting with the hotel owners, extremely kind and helpful receptionists, and finally to the cleaners who perform their work very meticulously (one of the strongest impressions from our vacation). Just like the overall peace, and tranquility that the hotel exudes, but also the whole little town, which is especially pleasing to older tourists who want to relax. For those interested, a large hotel pool with a sufficient number of comfortable deck chairs is available, but for tourists who prefer swimming in the sea, the hotel offers its own (free) umbrellas and deck chairs. The beach is incredibly spacious and almost deserted, which allows for a completely relaxed stay in and out of the beautiful Ionian Sea. This is one of the most pleasant and relaxed vacations we've had so far, certainly beyond expectations, so repeat is more than realistic in the coming years. Finally, I would just like to mention that the hotel does not offer the option of dinner, but there are several restaurants in the town that offer quality food. We chose a small Tavern called Elia in the center of Kanali, with an outstanding menu and local cuisine, very friendly owners and staff, a characteristic atmosphere, but also more than fair prices for the quality offered. A vacation that will not be forgotten!
