Overview
Based in the natural green beauty of Kampot, Villa Vedici offers both relaxing stay and exciting activities. This riverfront resort features two outdoor swimming pools and riverside terrace, allowing guests to enjoy breathtaking panoramic views of the Bokor mountains. Free WiFi is available throughout the property. Private rooms, suites and family rooms are available, equipped with either a fan or air conditioning. Bungalows include a kitchen, living room and a flat-screen TV. Private bathrooms come with hot shower facilities and free toiletries. Villa Vedici is a 5-minute drive from Kampot's city centre. “Chilled”
Great position on the river literally just outside the town, ( you will understand if you have been or when you have been) Very relaxing. New year celebrations going on while we were there, brilliant atmosphere but very glad to be £1:50 worth of tuc tuc away once we had taken in the mania.

“What a beautiful peaceful haven Villa Vedici is”
EVERYTHING, cannot recommend this place enough, it's a real gem. We ended up staying in Room 1 as the room we booked didn't have a view. Room 1 had a stunning view of the river from a huge private verandah, complete with comfortable lounge suite & comfy dining setting, situated to enjoy the view & the gentle river breeze. The trees & gardens are established & lush. Birdlife was beautiful, saw numerous species, more birds on this property than we've seen during the past 2 months of traveling. Our verandah also looked over the pool, which we used regularly, heaps of comfy day beds & shade. Drinking water is supplied, rooms cleaned daily, & we hired a scooter at a great price. The staff speak English & are friendly. The owner is a legend, he's knowledgeable about the culture & generous with his time.

Can’t beat the views! So quiet and peaceful and exactly like the photos. It’s far away from the hustle and bustle of the city yet close enough to take a tuk tuk or even walk into town.

“Chill out here!”
A beautiful riverside setting where I had a room on the first floor with a generous verandah that allowed you to look beyond the pool and out to the river. I witnessed a gorgeous sunset from the riverbank. The food was delicious and there were reasonably good choices even as a vegetarian. The bed was firm, but comfortable. A little out of town but a tuk tuk ride didn't take long.
