“Kampot and The Vibe are amazing”

What an amazing and unique place! If you want to explore the real Kampot, this is where you go. There is so much to do here. But you will only know if you go the Vibe. The information about Kampot that you find online is not great. It's not for everyone, but if you are the type that wants to dive deep into local culture, you will have a good time here.

Fabulous food and lovely, helpful people. The tours were catered to your taste. It was unlike any other hostel I’ve stayed in. Really enjoyed my stay.

The vibe was realy nice in the guest house, i've met some wonderfull people there. If you want to explore the real kampot ,this is the place to stay. The staff takes you to places of the beaten track and hidden gems. You'll probably stay longer as you planned. So nice they are helping the local school children so the stay is defenitly worth! keep on vibing 🤞

Exceptional place, all the tours are customised by the owner and still cheaper than other places ! Let you discover Kampot and the many "secret places" near by. The owner is also the most helpful host I met on my travel, I highly recommend !

“Unique stay, felt like being part of a community”

The staff of the hostel is amazing. They are so welcoming and helpful. Definitely an unique and stand-out experience compared to normal hostels. I got a lot of recommendations on what to do in the area, and they helped me rent a scooter. The room was big and from the balcony you have an amazing view of the mountains.

“Worth a much longer stay here!”

The hostel is huge so you can be with others in common spaces or by yourself in a hammock reading a book. Local staff and management are so welcoming and helpful. Gym was good to workout at and clean. Beds gave best night's sleep. Staff arranged so many things to see and do. Great knowledge! The place is near enough to centre but away from the loud bars of downtown that has old white men and ladies of night. Other streets good for cafes and exploring so walk around and discover as I did :)

The Vibe is such the appropriate name for this awesome place. It runs from the both the people that hosts us down to the amazing other travellers that come through here. Such positive energies. Place has so many different things to do and engaged both locals and many foreigners like myself. Rooms extremely comfortable and would say better than most if not the best I have stayed in for the budget friendly price!

Kampot is amazing, with lots of National Parks, pepper farms, ocean and beautiful clean river. Very enthusiastic and helpful host who organised very good tours and adventures. Nice house and room and food. Visited one of the schools they sponsor.

The locatio. Is very relaxing and the people are very friendly

Really had a great stay thanks to the vibe staff including lovely Khmer family that made me smile especially Mei Mei and Bung each morning. You feel the warmth and sincerity of the people that work here and it's not always the case when travelling.

I liked everything from the food to the rooftop to the gym and the tour I had also booked. The employees there are very helpful and nice and all around good people.

I loved the room very nice and comfortable bed. The staff were amazing and met my needs when I needed them. The food they cook is amazing definitely try the curries. The tour I took with them was amazing full day tour learning about Cambodia unlike any other tour I have done before. They have an xbox360 for guests to use with lots of games.

“Nice stay with people who care about the local community”

The staff are friendly, helpful and very social. They also do a lot of social work for the cambodian community like teaching in 4 different schools in Kampot. I even got to give an english lesson to a class. The locals all know them well and appreciate their social engagements. You can contact the staff if you’re interested in volunteering. The guesthouse is huge. There are 3 dorms (6 bed low budget mixed, 4 bed female, 4 bed male). Plenty of well equipped private rooms. TV area with Nintendo 64, library, gym, pool table, babyfoot, 2 rooftops with stunning views and nice to fly the drone. You can rent a scooter for 5$/day which is really cheap. Amir, Evan and Raff are also happy to organise tours for you. There are 8 national parks in Kampot, so many waterfalls, Kep Crab market, fishing village and plenty of things to see. They also offer organic breakfast, lunch and dinner for a low budget if you don’t want to eat outside. This is not your usual hostel ! They are all volunteers and the business works mostly through donations and then renting beds, selling tours, drinks & food. Your expectations shouldn’t be set to 5* hostels. Consider it more like staying with friends, exploring the area together and if your are willing to volunteer or participate in social engagements, that’s highly appreciated but not a must at all.

Such a cordial welcome and very tasty food. Evan knows everything about the area here and arranges tours and everything really. There's even a place to work out.

2nd time staying here. Was here before and loved the place and staff so much I had to make another stay here to say goodbye to the people and staff here before leaving kampot

Great to meet other backpackers also wanting to do something different. Many longer term enjoying this awesome vibe. This place has it and more. Staff, atmosphere, comfort. Highly suggest staying!!!
