“Everything you need for an easygoing stay in Kampot”
Can’t go wrong with a private room at this price, especially right in the centre. It was basic but comfortable and had everything I needed. The host was super friendly and it was nice to sit and have some drinks with him in the evening

Loved this place. We stayed 2 nights. The room was reasonable size with a balcony looking towards the mountains. It was not flash ( bench and hanging space made of raw concrete ) but it was clean and spacious and had everything we needed. The bed was comfortable, the air conditioning cold and the shower hot. There was a fridge. Room to hang things up. It is situated really close to the river and easy to walk to town. The owner was friendly and remembered our named and offered to organise tours and things for us. There is a bar and sky roof ( we did not use either but they are there ). Really could not fault this place and if I return to Kampot would stay here again.

I stayed here 8 years ago as a backpacker and told the owner Sopheap that I would return. He has improved and rebuilt the property to a very high spec. Well worth the money and a fabulous location.

“Uncomfortable and only accepts payment in cash which was unclear”
The bed was so incredibly uncomfortable. I ended up paying $60 USD and bailed after one night because my back couldn’t handle the pain
