The mattress are SOOOO comfy and the beds are bigger than a typical single. You also get two very fluffy pillows. Hostel is very social and all the staff are really lovely. Would book here again in a heart beat

I liked it here, the staff were very friendly and the food was good. The location was a short tuk tuk or a 20 minute walk from the center.

“Incredible hostel, even better staff!!”

The staff!! Karma traders has been the best hostel we have stayed in so far and it’s mostly down to their incredible staff. Vin, Leap, Lukas, Paul and Sokha you are all a credit to Karma! The location is great, close to the town. We stayed in a private room that was so spacious! The food is also a must, especially the tacos! We will definitely be back and be recommending everyone else in the mean time.

Rooms very spacious and modern, great social pool to relax at and they ran very fun events up at the bar. We enjoyed a happy hour and quiz night one evening. A little further out the centre but was easy to rent bikes from them so was no problem.

Nice place to chill. Rooftop terrace very social and has a pool in garden. You can rent bikes here so only 5 minutes from kampot town. Staff are friendly here too.

“Nice stay, would recommend.”

It was a fairly social hostel with some events ran during our stay which included a quiz night, open mic night and events for the Khmer New Year. The food was really nice here. We tried different dishes and they did not disappoint. The pool area was clean and tidy, we did not unfortunately have time to use this. The staff were friendly and helpful. Our room was cleaned daily, you leave the key with reception and they go when you are out. Bed was comfortable.

Staff was argumentative and exhausting. Laundry came back wet. No problem...until they kept (incorrectly) insisting it was dry. I needed my room key from my locked room to get something. No problem...until they kept insisting the maid was there and the door was unlocked (both were incorrect). I asked for my coffee to go because I had to get on a call and got a lecture on how my to-go cup was going to destroy the planet. WTF - then don't sell coffee to go! I started walking half a mile down the street to get coffee at a place that was happy to have my business. I just don't have the time and energy to go three rounds with the employees so I stopped talking to them and spent time elsewhere.

Staff is very nice and welcoming. They contribute to making it a great social scene both by the pool and on the roof

“Excellent sociable hostel!”

Very sociable hostel, incredibly easy to meet other solo travellers by the pool or in the rooftop bar, which is excellent. Hostel organises social activities too. All the staff are very friendly and help with booking tours/transport. Pods available so it feels quite private in the shared room. Good range of food available to order.

We had an excellent stay here. The pool area, food and general vibe is great. Special shout out to Sohka for his hospitality and friendship.

One of the best accomodations we have been in Asia, it combination of normal rooms and hostel, staff is very friendly, there is pool, rooftop bar, very chill vibe, nice people, you can rent scooter really cheap here

Comfy beds, great rooftop bar with reasonably priced drinks. Breakfast was nice. Rooms were clean and tidy.
