It's beautiful and unique place, a true gem!

The hosts went above and beyond to care and provide for us during our stay. Its also a great place for art & culture lovers as there are 3 art & heritage galleries and the owner would be happy to give a guided tour! The location is not the easiest to get to without a car but once you're there, you never want to leave - its safe, private and large enough for everyone to have their own space to relax.

Comfortable and inviting kampong like house and galleries surrounded with well-kept lush tropical garden. Property is green and alive with nature which can calm any troubled soul. The natural sounds of soft winds, running creeks, pattering of rain, chirping of crickets and calls of frogs, birds and sometimes monkeys make it perfect for those who just love to live in past years kampong life. It also brings me back nostalgically to my younger years living with my late parents and my siblings. Property is also just a few minutes of walking distance to Kampung Sum Sum Hulu which has food places that serve kampung cooked foods and asian western fusion ones. To top is all off, the property owner is quite helpful, very attentive to our needs, making our stay a very memorable one indeed. He took us on a informative tour of the property, including their galleries, that we appreciate the place even more, especially when it encompasses the historical part of it. Breakfast served was excellent indeed, which we devoured heartily before we left this beautiful place and its friendly owner, with a heavy heart.

“Truly magical property”

The property is unique, full of character, and palatial. The garden is amazing. I have been all over the world and stayed in many accommodations, and am wonderfully surpised that one of the most unique properties I have stayed in is only 1 hour and a half from my house. The hosts, Omar, his wife and daughter, were very hospitable. My kids loved the kittens on the property. We will definitely return.

“Relaxing, tranquil, very pretty 5-star villa.”

The entire property is vast, serene and the entire garden is very pretty and well-maintained, including the lovely lotus ponds. We were only there for one night but from the moment we arrived it was so relaxing and peaceful. The hosts Omar and Suraya went out of their way to make sure we had a pleasant experience. The villa is tastefully decorated, very clean and full of history yet with modern amenities of a 5-star property. There is also a swimming pool being built and river access from the property.We will definitely be back!

Guests get access to the beautiful gardens, great to take brisk walks in the morning and after dinner. A splendid place to take a lot of photos, so do bring your nice outfits for a whole lot of picture taking! Love that the AV room is in a separate builting from the main villa, which means the kids will spend more time being noisy in the AV room and the villa can keep being tranquil for a majority of the time. Breakfast is included in the price, whereas lunch and dinner can be added on with additional price. The owners are very kind and friendly and always at the ready to serve us during our stay. Amazing hospitality.
