The owner Din, he takes care of everything for us.

Very easy but comfortable accommodation right on the beach. We rather went to other beaches which are in walk distance and were alone there. The whole exotic beach just for us! Snorkeling is nice - saw black tip sharks, turtles etc. Bin, the owner, is very helpful and can arrange nearly everything for you. 😉 If you don’t need aircon and luxury living, then fully recommended for you.

The guesthouse is situated on a fantastic place next to the charming village. Dee is very friendly and helpful.

I had 3 wonderful days in Simukut Place. The place is very clean, beautiful beach views from my terrace, lovely cats making me company (so hard to leave them), I loved that accommodation is located at the end of the village so it felt very private (but still very close to the village 5-10 minutes walking distance). The owner was very lovely and he even picked me up and dropped me off to the ferry pier. He is such a wonderful & kind person. Thank you Din. I highly recommend anyone to stay in Simukut Place.

This is what Tioman looked like 30 years ago If you like simple things please come here and experience life like the locals.....

“Island Paradise”

The nice wooden house is located at the end of the village directly above the beach below shaddy trees. It offers fantastic views and the wonderful sound of the ocean. This place feels like paradise. It is clean and spacious with fans that are sufficient to cool down the room. The bathroom provides hot water and is clean. The host is such a friendly, polite and kind person, fulfilling all little wishes (and even the large ones - he organized a new additional bed for us!). He helped with luggage transfer from the jetty, organized the boat transfer to Genting and is a fantastic guide to explore the Dragon Horns. Mukut and especially this place is really worth to visit. Quiet and peaceful, nice living in the village. Would always come back again.

Even the accommodation I'd basic. But we get very cold airconditioning, towels, soap, Kittle and tissue. The host very kind offer us food and also give free entry hiking at dragon horn as they was the host for the entrance for dragon horn. If you stay at other place you need to pay for the entrance of dragon horn

“Back to basics. Peaceful getaway”

Cute, quaint, basic little beachfront chalets. Staff are friendly and helpful. Walking distance to anything of interest in Mukut. Breakfast options are limited but okay. Dinner was standard Malay food. Was nice. Very cute kitties roaming around if that’s your thing. Very nice to listen to the ocean waves whilst you sleep.

The reason you come here is the location- in a remote, romantic village, between a beautiful beach and the jungle. We also liked the cats, squirrels and monkeys around. The owner was responsive and friendly.

Loved the location right on the beach, the beach itself with the giant swings, the beautiful backdrop of Dragon horns and the tranquility of the place. The staff was very friendly. The food was nice.

Perfect place to enjoy some easy-going and peaceful days in the south of Tioman Island. Din and his team were super helpful and friendly and really made our short holiday here just as easy as possible for us (organizing Transport, providing all information required to explore the Island...) Great spot to directly start the track up to the Dragon Horns! Thumbs up and a big THANK YOU DIN!

Incredible location with extremely helpful staff. Den was always there to offer his assistance. The traditional village vibe was exactly what we were hoping for. Plenty of mangoes dropping from the trees and great local food prepared by a friendly family.

The beach shack was right on the beach - with a stunning view out to sea through a large leafy tree. The host, Din, could not do enough to help us and the food was delicious. Great swimming and walking options.

Place surrounded with moutain and nature and with typical village atmosphere. Lot of Mango trees.Rejuvenating cold moutain water stream (informed as waterfall)around 1 hr walk.Barbaque dinner .Friendly peoples.

“Hidden Gem at the southern part of Tioman”

Amazing beach chalet with plenty of things to do and live like locals where we felt that the clock was clicking slower than usual. Every seconds was a memorable one. The villagers are so welcoming and friendly. The food served at the restaurant was deliciously made and reasonably priced although they have limited source of supply due to their remote location. We ate a lot for our breakfast, lunch and dinner. We all slept very well during our stay. My kids enjoyed the clean beach and crystal clear water just in front of our chalet. Kayaking and snorkelling were so nice since the coral reef in the area is pretty much alive. We also enjoyed the next beach (they called it a private beach) just few minutes walk to the west from the property where there was no else on the white sandy beach with a calm turquoise water under the bright sun. There were many trees along the beach makes it a perfect natural sun shade for picnicking all day long since the whole area is facing south. Tioman is the perfect place to enjoy and appreciate the clear view of the night sky. We also noticed that the moon light and the stars are so very beautiful here because there is no light pollution. For adventurers and hikers, the lush Malaysian rainforest behind the property has a lot to offer. Just keep your gear ready and get the necessary arrangement done by the host. You can hike up to the famous Dragon Horns peak for a wonderful view of the South China Sea. They also offer early morning hike for hikers who wanted to enjoy the magnificent view of the sun rise from above. Asah waterfall is only a short hike away from the east side of the village and also become a popular spot for tourist. Many snorkelling trips operator in Tioman will include Asah waterfall inside their package. We will definitely coming back to this place for sure. Thank you to Mr Din for being a nice host.
