“Great coffee in a super-friendly environment”

The villa is spotlessly clean. The rooms are large and well-lit. There is a balcony with a beautiful view. There are mosquito nets on the windows, which is great for me because I am mosquitos favourite snack. Breakfast was served quickly and the coffee was excellent. The lovely owner gave me extra coffee. The value for money at the Sunrise Villa is excellent.

“Genuine Khmer hospitality”

Lovely traditional Khmer family run, Mum and teenage daughter speak some English and are very welcoming, friendly and helpful. Basic accommodation, cold water only, but clean bedding, towels etc. Have bicycles to rent but town centre is only 25mins flat walking. Pass-app ride hailing and tuktuks easy and cheap. Quiet side street, edge of town. The friendly atmosphere and smiles are worth the stay. XX

“Cheap option when staying in Kampong Cham”

Basic room with small bathroom with cold water shower. Out of town so best to use a bike if you want lunch or dinner, but also possible to eat on site. Nice family.

Friendly hosts, nice breakfast provided, breezy balcony, bikes for hire, large room, laundry service. A bit away from the centre of Kampong Cham, but an interesting walk of about 25 minutes. Easy ride. Recommend hiring the bikes ad you can see a lot more, and it is easier than walking in the heat. Delightful children..Thol speaks excellent English. Also great to be able to have a simple but flavoursome noodle dish on our second night instead of heading out again. Also able to get hot tea to our room/balcony. Aircon was extra but well worth it.

Lovely family and good value for money

Beautiful and clean property located a couple of kilometres out of town but still close to minimarts and food stalls. Lovely family who run the property, helped me book a bus to Kratie saving me the trouble of booking online and having to travel 30km+ to the bus stop. Breakfast was simple yet filling (omelette, bread and tea/coffee). Bicycle and motorcycle and free water refill rental also available at the property. Despite visiting in early May the room wasn’t too hot at night with only a fan although ac was available at extra cost.

I booked online and the price was $7.20. I sent an email masking if they had aircon. Not answered. When I arrived, they showed me a double room without hot water but said if I wanted aircon, I must pay $2 more. That's fair. I wanted hot water, so they moved me to a single room, and added $5/day, which I thought was a bit much. No mirror if you want to shave, no plug in the bathroom washbasin. I asked if I could get some ice if I bought some beers, and was simply told 'no ice'. There were cockerels crowing the whole night next door. Glad to book out, tbh

“Nice guesthouse in a quiet location and lovely hosts”

We much enjoyed our stay at this very nice little homestay in a quiet setting. What really stands out are the very helpful owner and his lovely family. They also rent out bikes and can organise day trips and bus tickets. Wonderful experience.

The room was nice and clean. The owners were friendly, I appreciate them speaking English. Their youngest daughter is adorable. The food (breakfast and dinner) was very simple, but good. Nice coffee. I liked the location, it wasn’t too far from town. A scooter and a bike available for rent.

Can't say nothing for that price. It was nothing special but the room was more or less clean. With the fan it was not too hot. The apartment was a bit outside of the city but with a scooter no problem.

Very nice staff that opened the room even though it was 4am after arriving with a sleeping bus. Room was ok, the place is a bit far from the center but apart from that, it’s all pretty nice and the breakfast is good !
