“Perfect value for money weekend holiday”
Just got back from a really great budget-friendly stay. If you're looking for a solid, no-fuss place for a family or a small group, this is it. Let's talk about the most important thing first: it was properly clean. I'm always a bit wary with affordable spots, but this one was spot on. No random hairs in the shower, no dust bunnies under the bed, and the sheets and towels smelled totally fresh—no weird odours at all. You can tell the place is cared for. It's an older building, so you might see stains in the Malaysian wet-style toilet, but that's just the building showing its age. It's clearly not from a lack of cleaning, which makes all the difference. The beds were a highlight—clean and actually comfortable. The mattresses had that firmer support we like, so we all slept really well. For the price, especially splitting it between four people, the value is honestly fantastic. You get a clean, comfortable base without breaking the bank. The location was perfect for us. The neighbourhood had a nice buzz for an evening stroll, and the real game-changer was having a Mr. DIY and KK Mart right across the road and Family Mart and Family Store around the corner. Forgot toothpaste? Need a bottle of water or some snacks? Sorted in 5 minutes. There are some nearby tourist attractions, including Benn's chocolate factory, a lighthouse with over 500 years of history, ostrich farm... the list goes on. Fun for the whole family! All in all, a top choice for a practical, clean, and comfortable stay. Would definitely book again.
