The staff and owners are exceptionally nice and welcoming. I was greeted by my name everyday, which just feels nice and warm. The hotel is Korean owned, so the restaurant serves Korean dishes, including at breakfast. This was surprising and appreciated. The swimming pool is very clean. The hotel is not central but there is not nearly as much traffic here compared to the city centre, so it was quick and easy to move with Uber. The environment is calm. Overall, Duomo has a very good quality-price ratio.

“A disappointing stay”
The hotel is located in a not too crowded area of Kampala, close to a couple of nice restaurants. It has a nice swimming pool and a very practical underground parking for when it rains. The staff and the owner are kind and friendly, and rooms have all the basic amenities, including AC and a spacious bed. The hotel has a WhatsApp system to communicate with clients for instructions, payment reminders, etc, which I found practical.

The staff were amazing, Miriame and Brenda at reception in particular. The hotel was quiet, which I appreciated, except for one night when there was a graduation party.

“Exceptional Experience at Hotel Duomo”
Their staff were very friendly and receptive. The room was clean and very functional. The bed was comfortable and the hotel's location is very accessible even for someone who is not familiar with Kampala. My experience at the hotel was beyond my expectations.

“Great value stay in Kampala!”
Great value for money and I had everything I needed during my five nights stay. The hotel has a relaxing atmosphere, good security, and the room was very spacious with a comfortable bed. The pool was clean and well-maintained, and the staff were kind and provided excellent service. I especially appreciated being allowed a late check-out. The location in Kampala is convenient, making it quite easy to get around to restaurants and other places.

“A great hotel with excellent facilities”
I had an excellent stay at hotel Duomo. My room was large, clean and equipped with everything I needed, quiet too which is sometimes difficult to find in Kampala. For the price the hotel has excellent facilities. Staff are friendly and helpful, the owner was very accommodating. A good measure of a place is if you'd stay there again and I definitely would do, this is somewhere I'd recommend you check out.
