“Exceptionally wonderful and peaceful!”

This was my second visit to Fred and Winnie's. I just can't recommend it enough! It is truly a beautiful oasis in Kampala. It's peaceful and homely. The rooms are extremely comfortable and well equipped. The staff are kind, helpful and nothing is too much trouble. The food from the menu is good quality and great value for money. Fred and Winnie are two wonderful people. They are warm, sincere and always helpful. They are genuinely lovely. Thank you for another wonderful stay in a place that I hope I will return to many, many times.

The courtyard is safe, the rooms are warm and comfortable, and the kitchen is usable.

The location is in a serene and safe neighborhood, absolutely quiet and a great place to rest. It is also very near a lot of Kampala's highlights. The hosts are super friendly and we truly enjoyed all our meals there.

The property is not far from the city center. Very quiet and pleasant to live in. The rooms are clean and the Wi-Fi works well.

Winnie and Fred were very helpful and are wonderful owners. The room was nice and clean, and the breakfast was always made just the way we liked it. Location is also great; no noise, yet very close to everything!

This property is extremely clean and comfortable. Godwin is an excellent chef and cooked us very tasty meals. The owners are very helpful and all the staff looked after us well during our stay. Hot showers and comfortable beds, made for an enjoyable stay. Friendly residents who were a great help with local knowledge and transport etc

“A lovely quiet clean place to rest from your travels”

I have never heard if Fred and Winnie's before, even though I have passed by not far from there for many, many years. I was very pleasantly surprised by the "bang for your buck" in the sense of the contained fresh room I had. With a fridge, TV, and very nice showering facilities, good view and all, i coukd not have asked for more. An extensive breakfast and easy order-in options from any restaurants in Kampala, it was excellent. On top if it all though, was the warm hospitality offered by the hosts. I would highly recommend this place.

This was my second stay at Fred & Winnie’s BnB, and once again, it exceeded all my expectations! The exceptional hospitality that makes this place so special was even better this time around. Its spotless cleanliness, and warm, homely ambiance make it feel like a true home away from home. The breakfast options are outstanding - there’s something for everyone, from fresh pastries and fruit to hearty cooked breakfasts. The hosts happily catered to my special requests. The staff make guest feel welcome and well-cared for. I can’t recommend this BnB highly enough - it’s a gem I’ll return to again and again!

The place is very quiet at night and so comfortable… a home away from home, the person in charge at the property was very kind and assisted us with everything we wanted i.e Wi-Fi password and flat iron
