To start with, Olivia was good and responsive to my questions from start to end. On arrival the shuttle was already there and Walter was so welcoming and accommodating at the place. The place was welcoming, warm, cosy and so clean. Definitely recommend and its going to be my go to place on arrival. Thanks Olivia and Walter.

“Peaceful and relaxed place close to the airport”

Location is very close to the airport in Entebbe, good for a ‘soft landing’ on arrival, or a peaceful and relaxed departure. Staff is well-trained and extremely helpful. The garden is a delight. The owner Olivia really makes you feel at home and personally provides shuttle services to the airport.

Manager Oliviah was waiting for us at the airport very early in the morning and took us to the accommodation. The staff was very willing to take care of our suitcases and we could start discovering the beauties of Africa. Early the next morning Oliviah arranged a boat trip to Mabamba Swamp for us, where we saw Shoebill. The room was fully functional and fully corresponded to the description and photos on booking.com. The breakfast was quite sufficient and very tasty. We were satisfied with the accommodation, so we booked it for the end of our trip.

Overall it was all good, from check in to check out, transfer to the airport etc. Staff was very friendly, perfect cooking skills very delicious.

Aivilo Home is located not far from the Entebbe Airport, a taxi from the airport costs about 10 dollars and Uber taxi the other way costs 21000UGX. The house is located in very quite part of Entebbe but close to the shops and farmacy. There is a garden arround with mango trees. Everything was great inside- room with fan, the food prepared with heart, everything. When I felt bad, the staff made a tea with pepper and mango leafs for me and it got me back on my feet. Wi-fi worked well when was the electricity:) Special greetings to the staff- young Ugandan woman who helped me.

Great. This place was awesome after arriving on a very delayed flight into Uganda at 2 am. Olivia and her staff were waiting for us and very friendly. We were only there for a brief time since we were driving out of town the next morning but the room and bed were comfortable, there was a mosquito net, a fan and a good shower, though a bit cold. It was only about a 10 minute or less drive from the airport so it was very convenient to the point that we have booked the same spot for the night before our early departure in a few weeks. I would recommend it for sure.

Charming, comfortable guest house very close to the airport. Perfect stay in Entebbe.

“The perfect stopover before flying home.”

The property was located just over 10 minutes drive to Entebbe airport but was like an oasis of calm. We liked the beautiful green gardens and a terrace with tables for outdoor eating. The rooms were much larger than expected with generous sized beds and mosquito nets. They were clean and comfortable. Olivia made us most welcome and provided evening meals on request. We appreciated her driving us to the airport at 2.30am.

I stayed a couple of days with my daughter... the whole experience was magical. The hostess Olivia was a God sent and always accomodating together with her girls Beka and Prisla they made our stay a perfect experience. And Olivia is a great cook plus she offered us the best coffee. And let's not forget Coco the friendly and welcoming dog...The place was so clean and the beds very comfortable. The environment was quiet and peaceful we didn't want to leave. It felt like home away from home. We give it a 10/10 and we shall definitely visit again

“It was a nice stay though it was short.”

Location was fantastic and quite near the airport. I liked the accommodation. \the room was big and clean. However, we discovered a huge cockroaches emerging under the bed and we tried to kill it but it disappeared under the bed again. This gave us a flight as we could not move the bed to hunt it. The bed was too huge. But we still slept as we were tired. There were no many options for breakfast and we ended up eating an egg wrap even when we don't like wheat. Overall, it was a nice facility and services were good. Benson

“Wonderful home away from home!”

The property was a 10. Olivia was a 10 and a most welcoming host! I had read the glowing reviews and my stay was a 10. This is a classy homestay at a great VFM price. Coco was a very affectionate darling of a dog and the vervets gave the accommodation a forest lodge feel only yards from Entebbe town. My new home whenever I am in Entebbe for sure. “Good place to stay!”

Spacious, clean room with a fan and a bed with a mosquito net. Clean bathroom and hot shower. Good breakfast (for a fee). You can see macaques in the morning or afternoon from the garden. Very friendly staff, and they can arrange transportation to and from the airport.(for a fee). Quiet and safe area, we enjoyed our stay at Olivia's house.

Stayed for one night, after a very late flight. Staff were really helpful. There was really good communication with the owner prior to our stay. The room was clean and only a few minutes from the airport. We had Rolex and African tea for breakfast in a lovely garden setting, which was lovely. A monkey ran across the lawn while eating breakfast!
