Dinner and breakfast was included in my stay, access to travellers lounge with snacks and drinks. Dinner was all you can eat buffet. Great location by the beach, train station and Sea World Kamogawa.

The choice of food at breakfast and dinner was impressive. The sea view was equally impressive and the staff were fantastic.

This was a last minute unexpected booking for us for one night. The hotel is clean and tidy, the staff are kind and helpful. The property has simply seen better days and was a bit aged (inside and out) - It needs an overall refresh. This issue is possibly a hangover result of the pandemic effect.

“Nice hotel but needs refurbishing”

The staff speak very little English but applaud them for trying and assisting us. The first room they gave was very tired and old, and we requested a change of room and they happily obliged. We were happy with the services provided by Mr Shoji and Ms Toko. The waitresses are also friendly and accommodating. The location is great to visit Kamogawa Ocean Park.

The entrance to the hotel is beautiful and classy. Staff were friendly and accommodating and even though they spoke little English, they were able to use Google translate to communicate effectively. There were lots of options for breakfast at the buffet. The view of the beach from our room was amazing! So beautiful! It was only a short walk from a Coco's restaurant which is a western style restaurant. The food there was delicious and great for my fussy Aussie kids.

A mere 2-hour bus ride from Tokyo Station, the location strikes a perfect balance - close enough for convenience yet distant enough to evoke a true vacation vibe. The hotel's atmosphere is a sanctuary for relaxation, making it an ideal spot for a staycation. The overall ambiance exudes tranquility, providing a serene break from the city rush. The dining experience was a highlight; the dinner and breakfast buffets boasted a delightful array of dishes. The quality of the food surpassed expectations, offering a variety of delectable options. The onsen, an expansive haven, was a true gem. Multiple pools with different mineral compositions catered to various preferences. Additionally, the private onsen overlooking the Pacific Ocean added an extra touch of luxury to the experience. The staff embodied the epitome of Japanese hospitality - consistently pleasant and exceedingly helpful. The convenience of the shuttle service to the train station was a definite plus, making travel arrangements incredibly easy. Overall, Kamogawa Hotel offers a haven of relaxation, excellent service, and a culinary experience worth savoring, making it a top choice for a serene getaway not too far from the city.

The onsen is spacious and clean. Excellent view of garden and ocean from coffee lounge. The breakfast is good. Attentive and efficient staff service.

Kamogawa Grand Hotel has it all and the most amazing staff I have ever encountered. The breakfast buffet and dinner buffet were excellent with a wide variety of dishes that were all delicious and refilled and maintained to perfection. The new dinner restaurant was ten fold above my expectations. My waiter was attentive and the food and saki were first rate. Naito-san the front manager is to be commended for his attention and help for this foreigner and helping with smoothing translation wrinkles. Excellent surfing right out the front. Beautiful outdoor pools and peaceful gardens. Visit Marumo and get one of the best messages ever. Hot oil after the onsen was my preferred and now i know what luxury is. The private onsens (3), two are ocean view and 1 is private with zen garden with well placed Yūgen ( 幽玄 ). I have tattoo's so the main bath was off limits. SeaWorld Kamogawa is right up the street within walking distance! Or Go rent a board at Grace Surf and meet some great surfers. I hope to stay here again in the near future. 6 stars our of 5
