Overview
Yumoto Ginsenkaku offers outdoor hot spring baths, a sauna and karaoke facilities, only a 1-minute walk from the Kurodake Ropeway, which offers amazing nature views. Facilities include footbaths, hand baths and a launderette. Free WiFi is available at the lobby. Rooms offer Japanese futon bedding on a tatami (woven-straw) floor, and some have beds. They come with an LCD TV, a fridge and a safe. All rooms have an en suite bathroom with a bathtub, shower and toilet. Guests at Ginsenkaku Yumoto can unwind in public indoor or outdoor hot spring baths separated by gender, or reserve a private-use hot spring free of charge. The property houses a games room, a souvenir shop and drinks vending machines, while wheelchair-friendly slopes and lifts are on-site. A breakfast buffet featuring Japanese and Western dishes is catered at the dining room between 07:00 and 09:00. The property serves a traditional kaiseki dinner with seasonal and local dishes. The Yumoto Ginsenkaku is a 10-minute drive from Ginga Ryusei-no-Taki Waterfall. It’s a 30-minute bus ride from Kamikawa Station. Free parking is available.

Very centrally located thus handly for the Ainu fire and dance show, fireworks and the ropeway. As our stay coincided with the show prices higher than other weeks. Felt it a bit expensive for what we got (just on room only basis). Staff were friendly. Good onsen.

“Comfortable stay in a quiet hotel.”
We had a comfortable stay at this hotel, the manager was kind enough to let us make changes to our booking, which we really appreciated. The hotel is located in a very quiet area, near the cable car to the mountain and tourist information centre.

“Not great value for money, but amazing location”
Big, spacious room in an amazing location. There's also a nice onsen with a small outdoor area as well. I really recommend visiting the nearby photograph museum if you have the chance.

“Fantastic!”

“Good location for hiking, but need to eat very fast at the meals provided!”
the location is excellent as it is within walking distance to the Ropeway up into the National Park. It also has its own carpark which was very helpful as we rented a car. Facilities were clean and decent and were within expectations.

The room was nice and it came with a lot of great perks, like a karaoke room you can reserve for free, a private room with hot spring you can reserve for free, and of course access to the regular public hot spring. I also got the breakfast, which was an extensive buffet, lots to choose from.
