It’s located at the riverside, nice fresh air. Onsite onsen was comfortable as it was low occupancy during our stay.

The facility looks quite dated from the outside, but the moment I stepped into the room, the river view as seen from the window was breathtaking! I feel like I want to stay there forever... The place is also very clean. This is a family run business with wonderful service from the host. Didn't expect that the host offered the ride to the airport on the day of my check-out (he's driving out to run some shopping). Really doumo arigatou gozaimashita to him!

The views and the gardens were great. We were right on the river, and the views from the baths were great. The rural location was serene and peaceful, and the hot spring baths were great

“Charming old style onsen with good food.”
Proper family run old style onsen. Food was terrific. Location by the river was lovely. Onsen was very good, not too hot!

“Tranquil setting and great onsen”
The onsen was fantastic. We enjoyed the family bath that night and took a quick dip in the morning. The beds were very comfortable, giving us both a good night's sleep. It was great to lounge around in the supplied yukatas and winter jacket, taking in the spectacular scenery of the river. Although we can not speak any Japanese, we were able to communicate with the owner.
