Overview
Located right in the Tokachigawa hot spring area, Kamihoroso offers traditional Japanese-style accommodation with tatami (woven-straw) flooring and futon bedding. Furano Ski Area can be accessed within a 10-minute drive from the proeprty. Free Wi-Fi access is available at public areas. Rooms here will provide you with a flat-screen TV, a refrigerator and a seating area with a low table and seating cushions. Each comes with free toiletries, Yukata robes and a private toilet, while bathrooms are shared with other guests. At Kamihoroso you will find a sauna, a hot spring bath and a free shuttle service. A gift shop, vending machines and a 24-hour front desk are also available at the property. Ski storage and a designated smoking area can also be found on site. A buffet-style breakfast featuring Japanese dishes and a few Western dishes is served in the mornings, while for dinner a Japanese-style set meal featuring Furano Wagyu beef and seasonal vegetables is served. Dining venues may vary according to season. JR Kamifurano Station is a 27-minute drive away, while Fukiage Hot Spring is an 8-minute drive from the property.

“Could be a better stay if counter staff was more helpful”
We came when there was a heatwave in Hokkaido so it was a nice change to be up in the mountains surrounded by misty clouds .

“Amazing place in beautiful location”
Kamihoroso is set in a stunning location. The food is excellent, the rooms comfortable and the onsen is fantastic. The staff are also very helpful and friendly, will definitely be coming back here.

Really friendly staff, great location, incredible food, very nice onsen. The apres ski lounge has beer on tap, the local bus stopped here.

View of Mt. Tokachi from our Japanese styled room. Family friendly Ryokan. The tradition styled wooden onsen with the open aired option had a great view of the mountains! They provided Yukata and slippers in child sizes which was great! Felt nostalgic, as some of the furniture like the safe was from the 80s-90s.
