The onsen have a lot of privacy, there is onsen in room, public bath & private bath. The room are very clean and you are able to feel the hospitality in the amenities.

“A unique magical experience”
A unique experience truly magical. Room was huge ! Had a onsen on balcony which was bliss We had private onsen experience you can book in advance for a small fee highly recommended. The fine dining and breakfast traditional Japanese food was out of this world . Staff were amazing and attentive Location quiet and perfect Hotel it’s self is peaceful, traditional and well maintained 10/10

The room was beyond expectations, great design and comfort and very private. The place in itself makes you feel like you're completely isolated. The food was up there with some of the best we've had in Japan. The staff was very friendly.

Truly a special place to stay! Everything was just as advertised, if not better. The room was absolutely gorgeous with all the amenities you could hope for including coffee, snacks, drinks and luxury hair- and skincare products. The bed was so comfortable I didn't want to get back up. Dinner and breakfast were both delicious, every course was explained in detail with instructions on how to best enjoy each dish. Since the food depends on the season so much, I would love to come back at a warmer time of year one day to see the difference. In addition to the shared onsen and the one on the balcony, you can also book a time slot for a private outdoor bath. They also have the option to book a massage, which was wonderful after traveling for two weeks and carrying a backpack the entire time. If I get the opportunity to come back, I would love to stay for two nights in order to fully enjoy everything.

“Japan highlight”
Gorgeous property with lovely staff. This was the highlight of the Japanese trip for us! Quite a few locals at the place as well which is always nice. I did a lot of research to find a ryokan that had a private onsen in the room as well as a lovely ground outdoor one for private booking and this one ticked all the boxes! So lucky I found this place! Food in the private dining was also lovely. It really felt like a proper 5 star experience so it was well worth the cost. The shuttle pick up was also extremely punctual and convenient.
