Wonderful apartment, very well equipped, spotless clean, nice terrace with great view in a very good residential area, close to the beautiful Houkokuji and Jomyoji Temple.

“Beautiful view and comfortable”

Absolutely beautiful view of the mountain and forest in Jomyoji. It feels very private and tucked away in the forest. Sitting on the balcony listening to the birds every morning is an amazing way to start the day. I’m convinced Jomyoji is the best place to stay in Kamakura. It’s much quieter than the central part right by the beach. It’s very peaceful in a small quiet neighbourhood with pretty gardens and little rivers running through it. At the same time it’s very close to the main attractions. There are very regular buses every few minutes so it’s easy to get wherever you want. Strolling around is also lovely as the neighbourhood is beautiful. The hosts have taken great care to make the space very beautiful and comfortable. The bedding is comfortable, there is every amenity you could think of and all the appliances are there (washing machine, stove, fridge, kettle etc). It’s like having a little apartment in Kamakura if your apartment is very nice. There is even drip coffee equipment and beans for your coffee in the morning which is a lovely touch! There is also a really nice bath and the space is very big! Such a great stay!

“A home away from your home”

The place was really clean and the view was so beautiful. The owner is super kind and was so cooperative in answering all the queries I had. They also had basic oil, salt etc for someone who plans to cook. The toiletries are of good quality. Coffee maker was a bonus. For sure coming back soon. Recommend.

“Great host , lovely home we had the best time”

Well appointed nicely renovated and peaceful. There was a lovely biscuit and water for each of us on arrival. Toothbrushes and other toiletries. The kitchen had all you needed and it was good to have a washing machine You couldn’t ask for a nicer host he was so kind and helpful he even took us on a one day tour as we only had one day in Kamakura. We wished we had much longer as it is such a beautiful place. Our host also gave us a lot of information such as past history and current

“Lovely place and fab view”

The owner was very welcoming and friendly, he personally greeted us. The accommodation was very nice, clean and comfortable. The room was much bigger than I expected and contained lots of nice toiletries and skin care. Free onsite self service laundry was available.

Appartment has great view and a lot of thought has gone into its set up - ready to use for one night or live in for days. We particularly enjoyed the soaking tub after long days of walking around Kamakua and the washing machine given our long stay.

Nice place near the mountains of Kamakura, in a quiet neighborhood.

The host very thoughtful, everything is good quality and service. The place have lovely balcony, you can enjoy breakfast with the view! The studio is clean, fresh, and smells good! Will come back again here if be back to Kamakura :)

This may sound like hyperbole but this place really was perfect in every way.Everything you could possibly need for a short stay is provided. It was astounding. Eg. We wondered whether to buy seasonings and oil, or laundry powder, but no, they were all there. The bed was so comfortable, the shower powerful, the terrace view lovely, the entire place spotlessly clean. It felt like home. Seiji san was a great host, sending clear communication.

The interior is simply great. The facility and amenity are more than that of hotels. We really like the big sofa(can be a bed) to relax. Although the location is a bit far from the centre, that’s the reason guests have a perfect opportunity to appreciate the beauty of Kamakura. We did not meet the owner in person, but he was very polite and kindly shared some restaurants and shops around Kamakura. It would suitable for international tourists as well as the structure is similar to that and there are brief English translation to most of the facility.

Everything. From the moment we walked in, we wished we were able to stay much longer. Communication was also excellent. What a lovely little find this place is. Note: we had a car.
