Amazing location Confortable Japanese room Bar next door that I would have joined if I was not tired but the staff looked so invited and kind. I think this is a nice one for solo travelers ... I am coming back for sure

I loved my stay at guesthouse Shibafu. The room was spacious and comfy. The location is also great, with a konbini 3 min by foot perfect for breakfast, one of the most famous temple 5 min by foot nearby and of course the beach. The guesthouse is also secure and I could leave my luggages on my departure day to explore a but more before leaving. I totally recommend and would come back again.

Tatami room with personal toilet, walking distance to Big Buddha and Hase temple, nice to jog around as its near to the beach. Convenient store is nearby too

Located in a cute neighbourhood, short walk to Hase station (on the Enoden), the Great Buddha, Hase Temple and the beach. Friendly staff and resident dog (if you don't like dogs, don't worry, he stays on the porch or with his owners, not in the guesthoise). Nice to have windows that opened (with flyscreens).

Amazing guesthouse with friendly and supportive staff and an amazing location (not even 10min from Hase Station and some of the main landmarks of Kamakura. The room was tidy and the shared facilities were clean and very well kept. It was for me the first time sleeping on a futon - never had a better sleep in my life when travelling. The guesthouse is a good choice (be it for leisure or business). The check out is also very straightforward. Can highly recommend this guesthouse and would book it again.

Great little guest house - good room and shower and we were able to leave our bags with them after the checkout to enable us to spend our last day exploring

“Were it not for the Layout, a Slam Dunk”

Location is fantastic and easily walkable to the station - as a travel destination, easy access to both shrines you were going to visit and the Enoden line is crucial. This also applies to options for dining for lunch/dinner. Staff are good - they're pretty hands-on and will make sure you know what you need to so you can stay there. Check-out racks - since it's a small, intimate space, having the option to leave stuff behind for your final day is a huge plus.

What a wonderful time I had in this guesthouse. The staff was super friendly and welcoming and even helped me get my heavy luggage up the stairs. The place itself is super cute and clean, and no wishes were left open. The location was super nice as it was in a quiet place but still super close to everything that Kamakura has to offer . Would recommend this place to everyone every time! :) Thanks to the staff again for the very friendly welcome! I felt super comfortable staying in this guesthouse.

“Super close to temple and food options while still private and cozy!”

The location is great. Super close to the temple where we visit for new year as well as lots of food places. I especially love our tatami traditional room with a private yard but next to the cozy lounge! The restaurant has amazing food definitely recommend!

Everything was excellent !! And the bar just behind the guesthouse is great ! Good food and drink. I will return in this place

Staff very friendly room was spatious

Owner is very friendly and easy to deal with, absolute legend. Location was close to many small shops, restaurants and coffee places. Also close to a few touristy places. All of which are easily walkable from the accommodation. Additonally, they can store your luggages after your checkout in case you want to explore Kamakura more which saved us the hassle of "luggaging" around town. Another plus is they got their own bar downstairs, but didnt get the chance to drink as we stayed for only 1 night. Only got a snapshot of the small walkway/alley heading towards to the accommodation after walking around town at night. Will definitely be back when im around Kamakura again.

“Comfortable”

It's located at a quiet street parallel to the main road, 5min walk to the great Buddha and Hasedera Temple also Hase station. I like the tatami bed it's very comfortable as it is laid on top of foldable bed. Their restaurant offered simple food that is very convenient when you just want to stay in.
