“Amazing place next to the beach”

Great location right next to the beach easy to get to from the train station when u arrive. Staff who checked me in was lovely and their English was good. I was in the dorm and the bottom bunk had a curtin which was nice. Toilets clean and nice ac in the room that u can control Bonus I had the 4 bed dorm to myself one night

Perfect and quiet location, close to the sea and downtown Kamakura. A 5 min walk from Hase station, close to Kamakura‘s famous shrines and temples. We had a nice little room for ourselves, enjoyed the welcoming atmosphere of the common living room and the morning sun in the small garden.

“Loved Kamakura and the Guest House”

Loved our stay, the room was so nice and we didn't want to leave at the end. The location is also perfect, right by a convenience store and other amenities. The host was lovely too, he gave us some really good recommendations for food which we enjoyed and was there when we arrived. The social aspect was also great, and the main living space was very welcoming. Hairdryers were provided and the showers were clean. Kamakura is also well worth the stay, and was the highlight of our trip.

Nice asthetic, friendly owner whos english was good. allowed me to check in way earlier than was specified.

The host gives really good recommendations. Don't hesitate to ask him! I had a really great time in Kamakura and a big part of it was the familial atmosphere at Zen-ji.

Location is amazing, facilities are very peaceful and clean and staff is so helpful and lovely!

A lovely treat for myself! A private tatami room, with lots of space and great atmosphere. No private bathroom, but private toilet, which was a lovely surprise. The guest house is located close to the beach, but far enough to not be disturbed by the busy road.

The room was very cold, and there was always a cold wind in the entrance hall. If the air conditioner was used to heat the room, the room would be very dry, and I drank a lot of water.🥹

In my favourite area of Kamakura, right by the beach and not too far from Hase station, as well as Hase-dera temple and the Buddha! Nearby to a restaurant called Mellows which I definitely recommend (drinks are mandatory). I loved the vibe of the entire guest house. We were in the building slightly next door, so not in the main building. We had a slight issue with a small leak- which lasted about a minute- from the room above us. Just be warned, since it’s a traditional building, the upstairs tenants noise is heard a lot! The specific room is nice and cozy, with a mini fridge and a private toilet. But, the toilet in the main area is very nice, the main area also has a fridge and microwave. The owner was amazing, so polite and quick on the scene!! We accidentally locked the toilet door from the outside, and he arrived in 5 minutes to check it out for us to make sure everything was okay!!
