Really nice setting overlooking the lagoon. You can swim from just outside, although the water is very shallow. The room was spacious and had a nice terrace area to sit out on. The staff were helpful.

Service was very good and the chalets were clean comfortable and air conditioned which helped with the heat. It was also quite close to amenities if needed in Kalpitiya.

A lovely tranquil retreat. The chalet was large and well equipped with a comfortable bed and good shower . The staff were very friendly and extremely helpful. The breakfast was great sitting on the verandah with a view overlooking the lagoon. The location was just a short walk to town. We had our evening dinner on the verandah, and the food was delicious, especially the fish. Both accommodation and food were very reasonably priced and great value for money. We enjoyed every moment from arriving at the gate to the fond farewell. We would stay again. We recommend it.

Spectacular views of the lagoon. Each chalet was very spacious, spotlessly clean and comfortable. The food was absolutely outstanding. The portions were very generous with fresh flavours and innovative dishes. The staff were really wonderful and anticipated our needs such bringing a fresh pot of tea at 6am when we just got up to watch the spectacular sunrise. It was an easy walk to town and we enjoyed chatting to all the very chilled locals we met on the way.

“If you’re in Kalpitiya, look no further!”

This is a small home-like stay with only 3 villas. This meant that undivided attention was given to us at all times. We arrived at an ungodly hour 4am, and yet we’re welcomed by the lovely staff, and even offered tea & coffee. It’s a really spacious villa with a king bed, and another super single day bed. Toilet is spacious and there is good water pressure, warm water and basic toiletries. It’s a small compound, and gated so we ( 2 girls) felt really safe here. The next day the manager Lakshan came to greet us. In our opinion, Lakshan single-handedly made this stay a 10/10 for us. When there were flies / insects in our room, Lakshan hand caught all of them to make our stay as comfortable as possible. He gave us good advice & tips about things to do in Kalpitiya, activities, and assisted us with arranging transport etc. Food - the best we had in our entire stay in Sri Lanka. Lakshan is the CHEF TOO… and cooks all meals and caters to your every need. We were able to request for specific items (eg. Crab Curry, Hoppers, Squid) and he would ALWAYS deliver. Recommended dishes include - Crab curry, Coconut Roti, Pumpkin or Eggplant curry to name a few. Would definetely recommend this stay to everybody! It's a true sample of excellent hospitality. Thank you again Lakshan for going the extra mile for us! You made our stay in Kalpitiya unforgettable.

The view from the porch on the cottage was so lovely, I could hardly leave. Exceptional! The staff were kind and professional and the food, just delicious.
