Food was ample. Enjoyed the local variety. The drinks (cocktails) were very good im terms of not being the usual generic mixes one gets with all inclusive....but did vary a lot depending on which bar tender was working the shift. However overall it was very worthwhile and I thoroughly enjoyed my stay.

The location is mid and close to the beach, and the rooms are generally clean. However, the overall experience did not match the photos shown online. The property and rooms look much more dated in reality, and some facilities appear worn out compared to the polished images on booking sites. Service was okay, but not exceptional. For the price and the expectations set by the photos, I left feeling disappointed. It’s fine if you just need a place to stay in Mykonos, but don’t expect it to look like the pictures.

Absolutely Disgusting and Neglectful – DO NOT STAY HERE Penelope Village claims to be a four-star hotel, but it is nowhere close to that standard. In reality, it’s a disgrace. Our experience was horrendous from the moment we arrived. The room we were given was filthy beyond belief — stained bedding, hair all over the floor and bathroom, thick grime on surfaces, and a horrible smell that proved it hadn’t been properly cleaned in ages. It was disgusting, unhygienic, and completely unacceptable. We immediately raised the issue with reception, and the response was shockingly neglectful — they told us nothing could be done until the next day. They actually expected us to sleep in that dirty, unlivable room. We had to leave and find another hotel just to have a clean, safe place to stay — at our own expense. When we returned the next day to try and resolve the issue, the staff remained dismissive and unhelpful. They offered us another room, but it was only fit for one person, while our group had several guests. They eventually agreed to issue a full refund — but now, three days later, we’re still waiting. We’ve followed up again, only to be told that no refund will be issued at all. This place is a complete scam, and a health hazard, with no concern for guests’ well-being or basic standards of hospitality. The four-star rating is deeply misleading — Penelope Village is not even worthy of one star based on our experience. Avoid this hotel at all costs. You’re better off sleeping anywhere else.

“Great stay in a chill area”

The staff was very friendly and helpful at all times, every time with a smile on their face. The location is excellent, close to the Kalo Livadi Beach, and they have an amazing pool for you to spend the day there. Restaurants and stores are at a 10 min walking distance. The rooms were big and spacious, and the cleanliness was absolutely spotless. A great place to stay if you search for a quiet, laid-back area.

I would like to say about this hotel that it has a very good location, situated close to a beautiful beach. As for the hotel itself, it is very clean, everything was always tidy and well-kept. The staff is very kind, and especially Dimitris was amazing — he took care of us with love and was always very helpful. My friend and I really enjoyed our stay.

I recently stayed at Penelope Village for the second year in row and had a fantastic experience. The room was clean, spacious, and beautifully decorated, with a very comfortable bed and all the amenities I needed. The staff were incredibly welcoming and helpful throughout my stay, always ready with a smile and great local tips, especially Dimitri and Mohamed. They even let us use all the hotel facilities beacause our flight was delayed and upgraded our room for free at the beginning. Breakfast was fresh and delicious, offering a good variety each morning. Overall, I highly recommend Penelope Village to anyone visiting Mykonos. Looking forward to returning!

Located pretty well, near the beach (7 mins walk distance), 20 mins distance to the city center by car, 15 mins by car to the airport. The staff was kind enough especially when we asked to change the room when we’ve complained about the fact we were next to another family (a locked door between the rooms). They’ve changed our room only after 3 days - that was the earliest possible change. We’ve appreciated their support and understanding. Breakfast was good enough. I was surprised tho’ they didn’t have fresh vegetables (tomatoes, cucumbers etc). There were 90% same breakfast options every day. Parking spots available all the time.

We really enjoyed our stay at the hotel! We were there for 8 days and the service from Dimitri was simply amazing! Every question and request was answered immediately and all with a smile In general, the staff is very gracious and smiling
