Situated among 18th and 19th century villas in a park setting, this charming hotel is 3 minutes’ walk from Kalmar Castle. Free WiFi is available. All individually decorated guest rooms at Slottshotellet have a TV, crystal chandelier and wooden floors. Many are decorated with antique furniture. “The best hotel ever”
It was the BEST hotel ever, exceeding our expectations in every respect. Perfect location, excellent breakfasts, very helpful staff. Every afternoon from Monday to Thursday delicious soup is served free of charge, with bread and a selection of salads. If I ever returned to Kalmar, I would definitely choose this hotel again

Breakfast was great, location was excellent, the staff were friendly and very helpful - even to non-guests of the hotel. There was a heater in the bathroom that worked!

“The charming hotel in the heart of old Kalmar.”
The hotel has an excellent location in the heart of old town close to the Kalmar castle, the city park. The room was not very spacious but cosy. Bathroom OK with strong stream of the water in the shower. The staff was friendly. I will recommend you to book the parking place if you come with the rented car. The breakfast was good.
