Lovely place. The owner Thinesh couldn't do enough to make my stay comfortable. I would recommend requesting a Sri Lankan breakfast - it was delicious.

Surrounding and Beachfront was highly valuable. Accommodation was comfortable and cosy. Friendly owner and his family who has made my day on 14th April with traditional Kiribath and other treats that was remembered ever.

Very pleasant guesthouse, with lovely host, who was very helpful and courteous. An example was going out of his away to advise on onward travel directly to Galle - identified a long distance bus at 0615, which I would never have found. Beach is 2 minutes opposite, so Sea View is not an exaggeration. Rooms were basic but spotlessly clean and excellent value for money.

It was a great breakfast ! We sat outside, and the vibe of the beach was great! We loved it all. We appreciated very much that the staff brought one of our group another blanket because he was old and felt cold.

The host was very friendly and helpful and even drive us to our next destination. Great location, right near the beach. Bed was comfortable and there was a nice place to sit right outside the front. The breakfast was good and filling. We would stay there again.

Great spot right by the beach! The host was very helpful in organising dinner, tuk tuks etc. great little terrace out the front of the room for relaxing on. Rooms are basic (especially the bathroom) but had everything I needed

The room is actually not bad.

It is just across from the beach. The beach is fine for swimming, at least when I was there in August/September. There are shore beakers, but once you get past them, it is calm. We had a delicious vegan breakfast that included fresh fruits and salads. The place has a lovely atmosphere.

No food provided. A shed in the family garden. We loved it but wouldn't stay long there because across from a not very attractive beach and the ice cream van played its tune for hours. However it was perfect for us for a couple of nights in Batticaloa and it was fun being in a family setting. Sitting outside the shed we looked on to an attractive garden and it was very peaceful to read there most of the time. The family left us to our own devices just opening the gate for the car whenever we needed to enter or leave. Nice casual atmosphere. Great value for money and clean. No air conditioning so rather warm. Glamping would be the nearest experience to staying here and as we camp we were very happy with that.

This is a very friendly hotel to stay in. The rooms are comfortable and clean. The gardens are lovely and its across the road from the beach. I would recommend this hotel.

we arrived after dark so didn’t get to enjoy the view until the following morning ! The chalet style cabin was great , enough space , clean and comfortable. Host was charming and helpful . Although the cabin was close to the road ( there is a road small between the property and the beach ) it was not at all noisy as little traffic . the gardens of the property are beautifully kept and it was clear that it was importantly to the hose that his guests are content . the beach across the road is lovely but ( and this is our only negative point, and not the hosts fault at all !) there is a fair amount of litter in this stretch of coastline . We followed the road to its end at the point where there is a small wooded area and a great vista to see the sea in one side meeting the lagoon river . You can see the lighthouse as well . In the evening / nighttime you can watch the fisherman standing in the water casting their nets by light in the lagoon to catch prawn and fish .
