This couple, especially the male host, showed us exceptional warmth and kindness throughout our stay. Although the house is older, the interior is beautifully updated and feels modern and well-designed. It is equipped with a fully functional kitchen, and we spent a very comfortable evening there. Even though we stayed for only one night, this couple left a deep and lasting impression on us. Being there felt like being at home, as if we were visiting loved ones we hadn’t seen in a long time. We are truly grateful for all the help and care they provided. We highly recommend this place to all travelers, especially because of this wonderful couple. They are genuinely welcoming to guests from all over the world, and their hospitality makes this place truly special.

A Home with History: Experiencing Swedish Culture Beyond Tourism Staying at this accommodation has taught me the Swedish value of preserving historical houses through careful renovation and continuous living. Each piece of timber bears the weight of accumulated history. This house, built in a time when winters were harsher and the sea level stood a meter higher, offers a unique perspective on Swedish culture and its deep connection with nature, far beyond conventional tourism. During our stay, we were fortunate to witness the northern lights. A lovely well-equipped refurbished old timber house, in a sleepy village just outside of Kalix. A great place for our group of six to rest while travelling between northern Norway and Helsinki - standard as described. Could be a great base for anybody who likes being away from the crowds and wants to explore the area around the north of the Baltic Sea.

The host was super nice. What surprised me (in a good way, obviously) is that we arrived at the location quite late at night (~1am) and Petr was still awake to welcome us. He was very welcoming. The apartment was clean when we arrived. It's a one-hour drive from the Luleå airport.

Small, silent village, bit off the track. The host was very friendly, helpful. The house could host about 8-10 people easily.

Antic house was perfectly made and clean from inside. Host was awesome and meet us even when we missed the address. Car charge is available what is a huge plus!

Communication was really good and Petr also helped us to get our car out which was stuck in the snow. House is cosy and has everything you need for a couple or bigger groups.
