Best hotel choice for us near Lulea. Cheaper than a hotel in Lulea but so much better! The breakfast, the stuff, the comfort, the location...everything was perfect! Definitely return in the near future. The only person was the manager who spoke to me in swedish when she knew about my past relation to Sweden :) it was a very kind thing. Everybody in Sweden answered in English even if I spoke Swedish to them 💁🏼‍♂️

“Modern Hotel”

This a lovely well appointed hotel on the edge of Kalix yet within walking distance of all shops, restaurants, etc. The staff are very friendly and helpful. My single room was spacious with a comfortable bed and a good sized bathroom. They have a small lounge area at reception with free coffee available. Breakfast was very good with a decent choice of food. They have a restaurant but it wasn’t open during my stay. The car park is adjacent to the hotel . Overall an excellent place to stay.

If you are staying in Kalix this is definitely the hotel you should choose for a memorable experience. We thought it was a fabulous place to stay. The hosts are very friendly generous people who make sure you enjoy your stay. Their staff are also happy to help with anything you need. The buffet breakfast offers a delicious selection of cold and hot foods with excellent cheeses and meats, fresh bread (including a warm, tasty gluten free option), cereals, yoghurt, fruit and much more. The bacon and scrambled eggs was hot and beautifully cooked. We ate lunch there as well and it was very good value for very fine food. And good coffee too. The hotel itself is traditional Swedish and with very stylish decor, cosy and comfy. The room was clean, the bed very comfortable, the smart TV had many options for English speakers and there were two comfy chairs to relax in. The location is great, a short walk to many types of shops, restaurants, the river and the bus station. Kalix is a very convenient town to get around. Thank you to our hosts and their staff. You made our stay very enjoyable.

Very nice hotel next to the main road. The staff is very friendly, the room was a bit small but very well designed, the breakfast was very good, too. Quite good value for the money.
