Everything was very well maintained and cleaned daily. The owners were kind and welcoming. I loved the traditional style that matches the village, perfect for relaxing. The rooms are comfortable, the bed was excellent, and the common area with tables and pool is lovely.

Charalambos Cottage is a great place to spend a peaceful holiday, relax well, enjoy the traditional atmosphere and the outstanding care of the hosts. The hosts had taken care of everything, starting from communication about arrival, reception, information about the village, facilities and services in the village. Both the territory (yard with swimming pool) and the apartment are decorated in a traditional style, thinking care about every detail and creating a wonderful atmosphere. The apartment has everything for a comfortable stay, the kitchen is equipped with everything needed for cooking. Very comfortable bed. I recommend this place for a break from the stressful everyday life or simply to enjoy Cyprus in all its diversity.

Wonderful traditional property, beautifully furnished and well equipped. Peaceful location in a lovely village, but with easy access to other places to visit. Andreas was really friendly and welcoming. The wine, fruit, coffee etc in the welcome pack was really appreciated.

WOW WOW WOW - if you want to experience true Cypriot Hospitality then you HAVE to add Charalambos Holiday Cottage to your list of best places to stay. From the first engagement when booking, I just knew we were onto something special. BUT when we got there it exceeded all our expectations. We arrived on my birthday and Andreas and Simoni surprised us with a Birthday cake and a beautiful gift!!! We stayed in the "Anna" room which is upstairs with a balcony. The cottages are restored listed traditional Cyprus Style stone. All the decor is traditional and you truly feel like your'e experiencing Cyrpus. The surprises didn't stop there!!! Andreas and Simoni had left delicious home-made jam, tea coffee, local WINE and some goodies in our fridge! Our room was larger than most and had a kitchen and lovely bathroom. There was more than enough space for hanging clothes and there is also a facility downstairs if you need to use a washing machine! The comfort was 10/10 and the cottage had fully equipped TV entertainment and some DVD's provided, although the movies that we had access to online were so good that we never needed to watch DVD's. The courtyard area that the cottages face onto is just MAGICAL. On the nights we were in we had dinner in the courtyard which was so relaxing and made us feel like we actually lived in this magical place. You have a nice shaded pergola with dining table and chairs and the pool is just stunning (it's a salt water pool, so for the blondes it won't turn your hair green!). You have mountain views on the one side and village view on the other. Andreas told us all about the local architecture and history and this formed a good basis of the places that we visited from the village. We visited both traditional Taverna's in the village which serve traditional Cypriot food. Retro was our favourite of the Taverna's because we found the owners just so lovely and friendly.

Decor, facilities and amenities, location for us is perfect. Andreas, Simoni and staff couldn't do enough for you, always asked if everything was ok and suggesting events that were happening locally. We will be looking to stay again hopefully next year.

The quiet secluded location where we could do what we wanted when we wanted. Time to chillax! A place just to unwind with comfort and no unnecessary frills.

“Best holiday accomodation of Cyprus!”

This accomodation might be the cutest and best accomodation we've ever stayed in. Everything is perfect: the village, the communal garden, the interior of the accomodation. The apartment was very nicely decorated and super clean. The bed was very comfortable, we wish we had a matress like this at home. Andreas, the host, is very friendly and welcoming. When he saw us having dinner outsidee he provided us with a delicious home made dessert of bergamot peels. We also found a bottle of his own wine and grapes from his garden in the fridge. Make sure to visit his shop at the square as well, they have a variety of nice and tasty local products. If we ever come back to Cyprus we will stay here again!

Perfect place for families, has everything you need and more. Quiet, remote and peaceful, clean and authentic with attention to details. Great base to explore local villages, beaches and trails.

the location is amazing. unlike other villages we visited that felt like a giant bazzar, this smaller village feels off the beaten path. The communication with Andreas the owner was great, he was there and answered all our questions personally and helped with anything we needed. For a family with 2 young children we were surprised by the amount of toys, books and helpful accesories - even stuff we don't have at home! The pool was comforting in the extreme heat wave we were experiencing.

We had a great vacation in Cyprus. Kalavasos is quiet and idyllic village. Accommodation with traditional architecture. All destinations max. 1h drive by car (Limassol, Paphos, Aya Napa, etc.). Super kind and helpful family. The accommodation has everything what you need for life. Cafes, grocery store nearby. Family sweets are the best.

The location was excellent as it was close to the village with tavernas, coffee shop and village store also well located for visiting other parts of the island. Everyone in the village was friendly and welcoming. Our hosts were charming and could not do enough to make our stay enjoyable. In fact we stayed longer than intended.

“A great getaway”

I had a great stay here over 4 nights in early September. I was very comfortable in the little open plan apartment, which had a fully stocked kitchen and was very clean. I barely left the apartment, as I found it a great place to get some rest and relaxation. The town of Kalavasos itself was charming, quiet and easy to get around. Special thanks to Andreas for his hospitality.
