We stayed at Haus Kalendes for one week starting September 19th and were absolutely delighted with our experience. The place is beautiful, especially the garden, which made our stay feel so relaxing. The house itself is decorated in a very individual and loving way, and you can feel the personal touch in every detail. Everything you could possibly need is provided, which made traveling with our little daughter very easy and comfortable. Whenever something came up, the owner was easy to reach and very helpful, always ready to assist quickly. We truly appreciated this level of care.

I traveled with my family and our little French bulldog, and we absolutely loved everything about our stay. The apartments were simply wonderful. Inside, everything was provided for a truly comfortable stay, down to the smallest details. The interior design was beautiful and very well thought out. The location itself is a big advantage. There is a barbecue area, and the place feels cozy and peaceful, with a lovely view of trees and hills. It’s very quiet, without noisy crowds — which is a huge plus for anyone looking to relax and enjoy some tranquility. The way to the sea involves a rather steep uphill walk. With a car or other transport, this is not a problem at all. However, if you plan to go on foot, be prepared for a challenging climb on the way back. A special thank you goes to the owner. He was very kind, welcoming, and always ready to help with any requests. We would definitely love to return again!

“We arrived on a Wednesday and ended up leaving the next day, even though we had paid for an entire week — because the pr”

This place is absolutely not “the whole property” as advertised. In reality, it's a duplex with a shared yard, part of a complex of 3 duplex houses, meaning 6 units in total. We were surrounded on both sides, with guests staying right next to us, separated by nothing more than a thin wall. You can hear everything, i have videos but I can’t upload them here. But I will upload photos showing how close people were — literally right next to our space. The yard is not private at all — it's completely open, not fenced or closed in any way. Anyone from the other units can enter freely. If you're using the pool, expect to be visible to everyone around. There is zero privacy. The owner even lied to us, claiming the guests next door would leave the following day. That made no sense to begin with, because they shouldn't have been there at all if the property was truly private. He also conveniently left out photos of the back of the house. I will post those myself so future guests know the full truth: the house is split in two and the outdoor space is shared. Aside from the misleading listing, the actual accommodation is also below expectations: * There were opened jars of food left by previous guests. * The mosquito net in one of the bedrooms didn’t close properly. * The bathroom fan didn’t work. * Glasses were locked away. * The upstairs AC unit was too weak to cool the room. I’m writing this review so others won’t be misled as we were. This is not a private house, not a private yard, and certainly not “the whole property”. The photos I uploaded are screenshots from videos showing how close the neighboring guests were. What you see is not a different house, but the other half of the same building we were staying in — directly attached to our side, with no separation or privacy.

“Beautiful and a gorgeous garden set amongst olive groves and woods of pine trees”

All amenities one could ask for & a wonderful kitchen. Beautifully decorated but the design of the traditional verandah & landscaped garden allows one to always be cooled by the shade & to enjoy the views below of the valley of olive groves & a gorgeous forest on one side. Ten minutes drive to the secluded Possidi beach & nearby attractions.

Our family of four found this a perfect house to stay in for a week, very peaceful with lovely views over olive groves, and excellently located to explore numerous beaches and parts of Cassandra. It was great to have a private and well kept garden to relax in when not out exploring!

“Amazing”

Location amazing with great views and nice evening breeze. Garden all round the house with areas to sit in the shade all day long. House itself very cool inside downstairs with no need to use air con, upstairs warmer as expected but very powerful air con so no issues with heat either, house had a dishwasher and a Nespresso machine which was an added bonus and not expected as not advertised.

House has everything you need and the garden is beautiful for resting and watching the stars.

Ideal place for a big family or 2 couples with a car. Super view, kitchen equipped with all you needed. Many chairs, couches to just sit and relax. Spent here 5 days. Definitely liked it, and will return here in future. Keep in mind it's located 15 min walk uphill from the sea, but it makes this house isolated from the crowd.

“Hidden gem in Possidi”

Wonderful place close to Possidi beach. Coziest garden overlooking the hills, fresh air, absolute tranquility yet being close to some of the best beaches in Kassandra. Amazing host. the house has all amenities needed for a comfortable stay. We will surely be coming back.

“Lovely garden summer house on a hill”

The modern end of terrace house is located on the hill above Posidi beach. It is spacious and lovely, fully equipped and has a beautiful garden with plenty outdoor seating, fruit and ornamental trees and a beautiful hill view. During our stay, noone occupied the next door unit which has its own section of the garden, so it was very peacefull. The owners were very friendly and greeted us when we arrived at the accommodation and gifted us with a local drink and Halkidiki olives.

Very friendly guests. Beautiful place, yard, garden and house. Everything is equipped on top level. 10 minutes walk from nice beach with beautiful sunsets. Very friendly to the pets. We really enjoyed staying there.
