I recently spent 7 days at Hotel Knossos in Kalamaki, on the south coast of Crete, with bed and breakfast included, and I couldn’t be more satisfied. The rooms and common areas are spotless – it’s clear that the owners take great care to keep everything clean and well maintained. Breakfast was fresh and tasty, and I appreciated the quality and variety offered each morning. The staff are genuinely friendly and make you feel welcome from the moment you arrive. The location is also perfect – just a 2-minute walk to the beach, with shops and restaurants nearby. It’s a charming small family-run hotel that makes you feel right at home. Highly recommended for anyone visiting the area!

Family owned business, everything was perfect. Mrs. Eva (host) is great, perfect and easy communication. We had a late flight and she has offered to book a taxi for us so we won’t get ripped off. There was even a cold water in the fridge waiting for us. Room was spacious, everything was clean. Whole room was cleaned every day, bed sheets and towels changed regularly. Breakfast was great, Eva and her family members will do their best so can feel like at home. Definitely a recommendation for everyone!

“a simple beanside hotel”
this is a simple beachside hotel. Rooms are spartan with few facilities but the price reflects that. we stayed for one night only. we liked the balcony and there was a fridge in our room.

Great location in center of little village Kalamaki and 4 min walk to the beach. Our room was clean, big enough and renovated, with fridge inside, bed is comfortable. Parking is free and the host is very kind and hospitable.
