We went to Aglaia Hotel for our vacation in July and it was really really nice. The keepers were super friendly, Helena gave us a lot of tips of what to do around the area but also gave us space to explore on our own. The room was beautiful with an amazing view to ocean and had nearly everything you need. It was clean and the hotel was located near to the beach. All in all I would say 9.5/10! We would definitely come again!

“Fantastic Hotel/ Apartment with seeview in Kalamaki”
I Had the plasure to meet Elena, the Host, and i must say she Made me feel Like Home from the very beginning Till the end. She gave me some good Tipps about places nearby to visit and i was never disappointed. Also she Made me upon request very delicious breakfasts, everything tasted fresh and healty. The room was quite Big and super comfortable, with a perfekt View of the See . What i enjoy the Most was that the area was really quite. So If you are looking for a non-touristy place this could be your perfect choice. Also enjoy the swimming in the Crystal-clear water nearby. If i will plan another Holiday in the south of Crete i will be super Happy to stay at your Hotel again!!! Thank you Elena !

We had booked a large room with a double bed and a tiny room with single beds was allowed to us. The hotel staff "couldn't do anything", we jad to ho to another agency in the town, that as well couldn't do anything, "call booking" ... The hotel is quite rudimental.

“Comfortable stay in quiet resort”
It was a lovely spacious room. The hosts were very welcoming despite us not having a common language. It was cleaned every day. The kitchen had enough equipment to do breakfast and a light lunch, probably not enough to make dinner but that didn't matter as there were lots of lovely restaurants nearby. Decent shower, air conditioning, comfortable bed, shady garden to sit in when the beach got too hot. We arranged our transfer and car hire through the hotel which worked fine.

- the location is quite good - clean inside - the owners Aglaia & Iannis were very friendly durind our holiday and the rest of the staff as well - very close to beach which was clean, long (good for walk) and (great choice!) without music and other noises - Kalamaki is small and nice village, people are very friendly
