“Fantastic stay”

An excellent property! We spent 8 nights here and had a wonderful stay, with excellent accommodation and impeccable service. The sandy beach is just across the road, which is a huge advantage. Our room was spacious and spotless, and even included a small kitchenette equipped with everything we needed. We had breakfast here every morning, and Manolis and his wife, Angela, prepare truly amazing food. Thank you for your hospitality! The bus stop is located right in front of the hotel, with direct service to Chania Old Town, about a 30-minute ride away. In conclusion: we'll definitely be back in September!

People are just incredible. Manolis is amazing. Very approachable, helpful, always answering to messages, flexible. Very friendly but in a very natural way. Also other people working there amazing. Place is so clean. The person cleaning is doing an amazing job while being very friendly and helpful. Room was very big. The building in right across of the beach, many restaurant in surrounding. There is a public bus between Chania city center and Kalamaki. I had 4 amazingly relaxed days.

We had breakfast in the cafe 4 times and all of us agreed that it was extremely delicious. Vegan options were also very accessible which we didn‘t expect, so it was even nicer. It was just everything we could have wished for: From avocado bruschetta and fruit bowls to strawberry matcha lattes. Additionally the host, Manolis, was very friendly!! Our arrival and departure were out of their reception times, but everything went pretty smoothly because communicating with Manolis was easy and quick. One time we locked ourselves out of the room and even then he answered immediately and helped us out. Same thing for the cleaning staff: a really lovely lady. All in all we had a great time and felt welcome not only because of the amazing accommodation but also because of the very friendly host and staff.

Host is amazing! Manolis will provide you all information that you want! The rooms are very clean. The view from our room was very beautiful. I really enjoyed the homemade food that was made by Manolis and his team. Every time I will go back to him when I go back to Crete!

“Fantastic stay!”

The breakfast was absolutely lovely, everything spotless clean, and the terrace was beautiful and cozy. The bed was very comfortable, and the check-in process smooth and easy. We were truly delighted with our stay at this hotel. But the greatest treasure of all is Manolis - incredibly friendly, helpful, and genuinely kind. It’s rare these days to meet someone who is so passionate about their work. I recommend this place 100% - you won’t regret staying here!

“Everything was perfect”

Everything was perfect! The room is spacious, we had our own little garden. The location is excellent, just outside Chania, the bus stop is in front of the building, but you can reach the city also with car in 10 minutes. They have a cafe next door, where you can have the most amazing breakfast, definitely recommend, it is insanely delicius. We highly recommend staying at this place, we will definitely come back if we visit Crete again

“Beautiful, cosy hotel with an excellent owner!”

Amazing little hotel literally a minute walk from a clean sandy beach. The room was well equipped for an apartment and the cleaning lady did an amazing job on a daily basis. The walls are made of concrete hence you barely hear anything from the neighbour rooms. Although the hotel is close to a main road where there is plenty of traffic, the window sealing was great enough to isolate most of the noise from the street. The view was stunning from our terrace. Downstairs there is the owner’s cafe and they make the best coffee around the area. Manolis the owner was always there to help us with any queries during and before our stay, an excellent host! Thank you for making our visit memorable! 🙏🏻😊

“Everything was perfect!”

We stayed here for the second time. We arrived late in the evening, but getting in was easy. The room was clean, well equipped, everything was in perfect order. Wonderful sea view, daily cleaning and fresh towels. Quiet room. Bus stop in front of the accommodation. Everything was perfect again, like years ago. Manolis is very kind and helpful. Thank you for everything. We will surely come back to Crete, and if we stay near Chania, we will surely come here again.

“Great!”

We really enjoyed our stay at Kalamaki Mare Suites. The apartment was very clean and was cleaned daily. Down stairs they have a cafe with healthy breakfast options such as avocado toast and Greek omelet paired with a matcha or/and fresh orange juice e.g.. Delicious!

Our room was nice, clean and tidy, as well as the rest of the property. Manolis, our host, was super nice, responsive and friendly. He helped us organise a trip and answered all the questions we had.

“All in all, a pleasant and relaxing stay”

Convenient, safe, quiet, comfortable, easy access to Chania town centre and towards West Coast (bus stops right outside and opposite entrance), comfortable beds and A/C that works, clean rooms and communal areas (daily room service/cleaning to high standard), studio well equipped for meal preparation (under-counter fridge, small oven, hob, utensils, plates, saucepans, frying pan, kettle) and shops close by to buy fresh vegetables, fruit and all needed to cater for breakfasts and meals in the room, excellent cafe downstairs with yummy homemade breakfasts and brunch meals prepared and served by friendly and attentive family and staff, beaches literally across the road, restaurants near by, all in all a pleasant and relaxing stay that we’ll be staying at again.

Great location, right next to the fantastic beach. Very clean accomodation, great owner, and comfortable beds. Every day was cleaned beutifully.

We had a wonderful stay and are very happy with our accommodation! The place is fantastic — the beach is just across the street, and it’s only a 15 - minute drive to Chania Old Town. The apartment was very clean, and the check-in/out process was quick and has everything you need for your stay. Manolis is an excellent host who kindly gave us great recommendations for food and places to visit. There’s also a breakfast option on the ground floor (pay at the property) with delicious homemade food — we loved starting our mornings there. The location is perfect, with everything you need nearby: restaurants, bars, the beach, and supermarkets. We truly loved our time here and would highly recommend it!

“Amazing experience”

Extremely kind and helpful host and staff. Amazing location, just in front of Kalamaki Beach, restaurants and shops. Clean and comfortable, just what I needed and expected!
