We had a wonderful stay at Doreen Suites in Kato Galatas, near Chania. From the moment we arrived, our host Stelios welcomed us with such warmth and kindness. He was incredibly helpful – giving us great tips on where to go, where to eat, and how best to explore the island. He even equipped us with umbrellas, sunbeds (so we didn’t have to rent them), and kindly arranged parking for us. For our little daughter, he provided beach toys, which made her so happy. During our stay, our daughter unfortunately had a fever, but Stelios went above and beyond to assist us – bringing a thermometer, paracetamol, and recommending both a very good doctor and a helpful pharmacist. This really meant a lot and showed the care he has for his guests. The apartment itself was absolutely clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, just steps from a beautiful sandy beach. Everything you might need is nearby: supermarket, restaurants, pharmacy, fast food, and even Lidl within a 10-minute drive. As a lovely gesture, Stelios offered us souvenirs, including a bottle of raki – a true taste of Crete – so that we can bring back the memories while enjoying Greek salad at home. Another highlight was that even after our checkout, Stelios kindly let us return in the evening to take a shower and freshen up before our late-night flight – a small detail that made a big difference. We highly recommend Doreen Suites to anyone visiting Crete. Stelios is a fantastic host, and the place is perfect for both families and couples. We will definitely be coming back!

The owner of the hotel, Mr. Stelios embodies the idea of Greek hospitality according to the most flattering stereotypes. Not only is he a reliable, polite, and easy-going, but he is also an extremely cultured and attentive person. The rooms are clean, bright, well-furnished, and comfortable even for larger groups of guests. The towels and bed linen were clean and smelled nice. The kitchenette was functional and equipped with lots of snacks and all basic tools. The possibility of parking near the hotel is a great addittion.

Stelios was a great host and he did everything to make us feel at home. Although not on the first line to the sea, the apartment was 1 minute away from a little beach perfect for small kids. Furthermore, it had a convenience store nearby and a decent restaurant right across the street. All in all, perfect for a family vacation!

Excleent location, very close to bars, cafes, restaurants and a lovely beach with sunbeds and crystal clear, warm waters. The owner, Stelios, was a lovely guy who really couldn't do enough for us whether that was offering advice on where to eat or drink to arranging trips at no commission. He's readily available and happy to help. We loved our stay and can't wait to come back.

Excellent value for money apartment, it has everything you need. It's very close to the beach (where the water is at a very pleasant temperature), restaurants, a small shop, and it’s a great starting point for excursions. There is parking available around the accommodation. Stelios is very kind, the best host, he helped us with everything. We really enjoyed our stay here!

Very clean and confortable; cleaning done as well as sheets and towels changed every 3 days which was really great. Location very close to a kids friendly beach and many restaurants. Easy to get by bus as the bus station is 100m away.

We had a very enjoyable stay at the Doreen Hotel. Everything was fine and the host very nice and helpful. The room was nicely decorated and had a large balcony overlooking the sea. There were two steps to the nearest beach, a bus stop around the corner, shops and restaurants nearby. We had a wonderful time. I recommend this place. I hope I can go back there again.

We were in this hotel for two weeks, as a family with two children. I liked everything, the location is excellent, the owner of the hotel is very pleasant and helpful, you can get an answer and help for any question.

Everything was amazing. This is the most kind and caring host I have ever seen. He does his best to make your stay pleasant and comfortable. We will definitely be back.

The flat was clean, the rooms spacious. The flat is 2 minutes from the beach, restaurants and bus station if you want to travel to Chania. The host is always available and very accommodating. He speaks English. All in all a very pleasant experience, at a very good price. Excellent value for money. Thank you for the pleasant stay.

The apartman is very nice, clean, cozy, and the view is amazing. Location is excellent, bus stop approx 50 m for both direction. Beach just across the street. The owner of the place is so friendly!

The small apartment my family and I rented here was in very good condition. The location is really near the beach, resturants and the center of Chania. The host was very welcoming and kind to give us advice on some of the best places to visit.

The room we got was actually a small apartment! A large bedroom a very large living room, well equiped kitchen and a dining table for four, and a balcoy to Chania and the beach. Stelios the owner was super warm and tryed to do everything to make us happy. We had a great time and we will come back!
