The receptionist was kind enough to explain the area and provide a map with a few details of the surroundings. Even if we did not want to breakfast to leave early, the host packed a small breakfast to go without us asking. Very kind and welcoming!

The location

Great location; just be mindful of which approach you take by car, as one route is steeper than the other. You can start your Meteora hikes directly from the property. The host is helpful and welcoming, and the breakfast is superb. The house is beautifully furnished in a traditional style. I highly recommend this place.

The room was quite small, but everything was clearly advertised in advance, so no surprises. The accommodation was clean and quiet, perfect for relaxing. A big plus was the very kind owner, who gave us great tips about visiting the monasteries – when to go where and which ones are closed at certain times. Overall, a very pleasant stay, highly recommended!

The location is perfect, the hosts are kind, and the bed was very comfortable.

Great location and friendly welcome from Vasilis. The renovation of this old house is brilliant. The location close to the rocks of Meteora is perfect for short or longer stays.

Hotel located at the top of Kastraki. For access by car take the road on the East side of the village, rather then through the centre (which is also possible, but a bit more complicated). Breakfast was great.

I understand that prices increase during the Christmas period due to high demand, which is fair. However, the price did not fully reflect the quality of the room or the breakfast. As a Greek, I felt a bit sad being in a beautiful mountainous area full of local products and being served packaged butter and supermarket cheese. It felt like a missed opportunity. Tourism is about adding value by promoting the local product — the natural beauty is already there for free. The hotel has clear potential, and while earning well in high season is deserved, investing more in quality, infrastructure, and local products will pay off in the long term. Written kindly and with good intentions.

The host was so friendly and the included breakfast was generous and served with enthusiasm and care. Plenty of advice was offered for exploring the local area. A great option for staying in Meteora.

Very good and local breakfast with everything you need, very friendly host, very quiet, we can recommend the restaurant „Senses Resto Bar“ nearby (you need to make a reservation for dinner). We started all of our hikes directly from the location.

We loved staying at the Petrino Guesthouse. It is situated in the amazing spot, right by the rocks. Our host was wonderful and accommodating. We would highly recommend staying here.
